Good afternoon, gentlemen. Today I want to write about the card game I like the most, and of course, it's not blackjack. But before I share my experience, I'm going to tell you about an incident that happened with this game.
As you already know, Las Vegas, known as the entertainment capital of the world, has been the setting for countless fascinating stories related to its famous casinos. One of the most emblematic and amazing stories is that of the (MIT) gang, a group of students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) who used their mathematical skills to win millions in Las Vegas casinos playing Blackjack.
This story all begins in 1980 when a Harvard student teamed up with students and alumni to gamble in casinos playing blackjack. Klan had a method for counting cards and had developed a successful system in Atlantic City casinos. Seeing the potential of the brilliant MIT students, he decided to form a team with them.
This also meant they spent many years cheating the casinos and making a lot of money. Over time, the casinos became suspicious of the team's consistent profits and high bets. Casino security improved their surveillance methods, and they soon began identifying the card counters.
After a long time and intense surveillance by the casinos, the group disbanded, but not before winning millions. But the team's story became famous and was adapted into the book "Bringing Down the House" by Ben Mesr and later into the film "21 Blackjack."
Never take out insurance – statistically it's not profitable.
Card counting (only if it's legal where you play) – an advanced technique for experienced players.
Don't rely on hunches – use the chart as a guide.
Bankroll management – only play what you can afford to lose.
Avoid tables that pay 6:5 for blackjack – always look for tables that pay 3:2.
That being said, this is my game.
At the beginning I got 3 winning hands but when I started to raise the bets I realized that this is not a real game because it is not possible that 13 and 14 come up so many times, every time it comes up if you hit cards I check and if you don't hit the bank wins, then that tells me that it is a rigged game and that there is no balance since those numbers came up many times. My advice after playing. (Play what you are willing to lose because you will lose) and since everyone can make their own judgment, I at least will not play like that and I will focus on the other games where I do see balance.
