Another day, another blog! Hello everyone here in @hiveph community! Here I am again "LJ" to share wonderful life story to you all.
Yesterday, was such a refreshing break from my weekend routine. My coworkers decided to visit and try the new food hub in Pilar. It was the next town after ours so it wasn’t that far. Since everyone agreed, we hopped on our motorcycles for a spontaneous weekend adventure!
The ride itself felt refreshing and freeing. With the weekend breeze on our faces and no rush to beat the deadlines and schedules from work. The road felt extra scenic! Laughter and lighthearted chatter made the short trip fly by.
When we arrived at the “Kafeine’s” we were immediately impressed with it’s clean and aesthetic look plus the welcoming vibe! They also have a christmas tree already so I took the chance to take a photo with it together with my friend who happens to be my coworker also.
It was airconditioned and had a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Exactly what we needed for a leisurely weekend. Their menu was exciting, you can order some korean noodles and cook it yourself. They also had korean snacks and drinks and a variety of rice meals.
I decided to go for a tempura rice meal, which was delicious. One of my coworker bravely ordered the korean spicy noodles , and of course, curiosity got me so I took a small bite. The flavor was great but it was so spicy! I quickly reached for water and realized that super spicy food just isn’t for me.
To share, we ordered a plate of cheesy fries which was perfect for everyone to munch on while we chatted. For my drink, I chose the Biscoff Matcha, and it was amazing! The sweetness of the biscoff perfectly balanced the earthy matcha flavor.
We stayed ther for a while, enjoying the food, the cool air, and each other’s stories which made the whole afternoon special. Before we left, I browsed their shelves and picked up some cheesy ramen noodles, cheese flavored seaweed, and korean drinks as a little treat for my son, Reygan. I knew he would be excited to try some korean products that’s new to his eyes.
When I got home, I gave him the paper bag with the korean products I bought. His eyes lit up with happiness and he quickly picked the peach ice tea and drank it with a big smile on his face. Luckily, he likes it!
That small Saturday trip to Pilar turned an ordinary weekend into a happy memory. Kafeine wasn’t just a new place to eat but it became a part of a fun experience that brightened our day. I am already looking forward for our next visit, maybe to try another drink or noodle dish. Sometimes the best weekends are the ones that happen with trying out new places to eat.
And that’s it for today’s blog! I hope you guys like it and thank you for dropping by. I hope to see you on my next one! Have a nice day ahead to all of us.
