Day 2 of Palarong Pampaaralan 2025 (Intramurals) Highlights: Watching My Son's Intrams Parade, Crafting Sashes, and Receiving a Sweet Birthday Gift!

Hello my dear hivers! Hello to the beautiful community of @hiveph ! This is me again, "LJ" sharing with you my wonderful life experience for today.

Day 2 Intramurals Highlights.png

Yesterday, marked the 2nd day of our "Palarong Pampaaralan 2025" (Intramurals), and it was another eventful one. Before heading to school this morning, I was able to watch my son's parade since today was the opening of their intramurals.

Seeing him proudly marching with his classmates made me smile. It felt special to witness that moment before my own busy day begun. It was a beautiful reminder of why these school events matter so much, not just for the students but for the parents also like me who get to witness these milestones.

When I arrived at work, the energy on campus was still buzzing. The sports events were ongoing, and everywhere I turned there was excitement! There were students playing, cheering, and giving their all for their teams. The competitive spirit and school pride were all over the place. It was inspiring to see everyone, from players to spectators embracing the true essence of sportmanship.

For us non-teaching staff, yesterday’s big task was preparing the sashes for the search of “Mr. and Ms. Palarong Pampaaralan”. Knowing that I was chosen as one of the judges for the event made the work even more meaningful.

The search was scheduled for 8:30 a.m. the next day, so we had to finish everything that day. The afternoon was spent cutting, gluing, and designing, and as we worked side by side, there was plenty of laughter and teamwork.

When we finally finished, we admired the beautiful sashes we had created. These are made through effort and creativity of each one of us. I could already imagine how proud the contestants would be wearing them.

After a productive day at school, I headed home feeling satisfied but tired. Not long after I settled in, Abby, my trusted massage therapist and a friend stopped by to visit. She didn’t come to give me a massage this time, instead she dropped by just to hand me a gift, saying it was for my birthday last August 28. The gesture caught me by surprise and touched my heart. It wasn’t about the gift but the thoughtfulness and the craftmanship behind it.

The gift was a handmade coin purse which she made herself by using recyclable naterials like the epmty packets of fabric conditioner. Abby’s kindness reminded me of how blessed I am to have thoughtful and caring people in my life.

As I reflected on that day, I realized how much joy small moments can bring. From watching my son’s parade and finishing the sashes with my coworkers to receiving Abby’s thoughtful gift. The day was filled with meaningful connections. Day 2 of our intramurals was not just about sports, it was about teamwork, community spirit, and the simple act of kindness that make days like this unforgettable.

And that’s it for today’s sharing of my meaningful event! Thank you for dropping by and reading my story. I hope to see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us.
