Celebrating my Aunt’s Special Day with a Cozy Overnight Stay, Delicious Food, and Heartfelt Moments at Bali Suites

Hello my dear hivers! Hello to the wonderful community of @hiveph! “LJ” here, and today another blog to share.

Last September 6 was such a special day for our family because we celebrated my aunt’s 48th birthday with an overnight stay in the city. She invited us to spend the evening together at “Bali Suites” and we couldn’t have been more excited. We arrived at 6 p.m., a little later than usual, since my aunt had to finish her work at school first. The city was buzzing with lights when we reached the hotel.

The moment we stepped into Bali Suites, I am impressed by how beautiful and cozy the place looked. The building has three floors and to our surprise, there was even a mini pool on the rooftop. The staff welcomed us warmly, their smiles and accommodating attitude instantly making us feel at home. You could tell they really cared about giving guests a good experience.

After settling in, we started preparing for dinner. My aunt had planned everything perfectly. My uncle chopped the lechon kawali. I tasted some and it was so crunchy and tasty!

The table was soon filled with delicious dishes that made our mouths water, everything from savory main courses to sweet treats. We gathered around and sang a happy birthday song for her. And she blew out her candle with a big smile on her face. There was laughter, teasing, and heartfelt wishes for her. The atmosphere was light and joyful. Exactly what a birthday should feel like.

Dinner was amazing! Not just because of the food but because we were all together, sharing stories and memories. We talked about funny family moments, upcoming plans, and even reminisced about past birthdays. After eating, we cleaned up while others took pictures around the hotel to capture the memory.

Later in the evening, we headed to our rooms. My aunt had booked two rooms for us, and we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious they were. Each room even had a small living area and a kitchen, which made the place feel more like a home than a hotel. It was perfect for our group.

We unpacked our bags, changed into comfortable clothes, and continued chatting late into the night. It was already quite late when we finally decided to sleep but the laughter and stories were worth every minute!

The next morning, we woke up at 7 a.m. and headed to the dining area to enjoy the free breakfast offered by the hotel. Just as we were settling in, my aunt’s friends from work brought out a surprise birthday cake for her! She was caught completely off guard, and the mix of surprise and joy on her face was priceless! We clapped, laughed, and sang again, making the moment even more special.

After breakfast, we packed our things and prepared for checkout at 12 noon. My aunt couldn’t stop smiling, saying how happy and blessed she felt to be surrounded by her family and friends on her special day. A simple yet unforgettable celebration.
