My Morning Coffee and Homemade Chicken Tinola: A Simple Farm Breakfast I Would Always Treasure

Hello everyone,

Life is full of challenges. Sometimes, we need to sacrifice and choose what is in our heart. For me, right now, I choose my family. I want to stay with my father and also take care of my brother while they are still recovering.

I know this is only temporary. I keep telling myself that they will be okay soon. They will recover, and everything will slowly go back to normal.

So while I am here, I just enjoy the simple things we can do together.

When I wake up in the morning, I usually take my coffee first. Coffee is part of my morning. I went outside and looked around. The surroundings were so beautiful. Everything was green, the air was cold, and the sunrise was really nice.

My daughter was also outside. She was enjoying the cold weather and running around because for her, this place is like a very big playground. There is so much space for her to play.

I just sat there with my coffee and looked at her.

Honestly, there is nothing like drinking coffee outside while looking at the beautiful view. Just a cup of coffee, fresh air, green surroundings, and my family around me.

Later that day, we prepared our food. We had native chicken that my father raised. I decided to cook tinolang manok. My father's favorite. I also went to my mother's garden and got a fresh papaya.

I prepared everything myself. I washed and prepared the chicken, sliced the papaya, and prepared the other ingredients for the soup.

I like cooking this way, especially here in the mountain. I can use fresh ingredients from the garden and the food that we already have. I also make sure that there are not too many preservatives because I want the food to be healthy, especially for my father and brother who are still recovering.

Living here in the mountain it give many reason to be thankful. Sometimes, it is just about cooking for the family, drinking coffee in the morning, watching my daughter play, and sitting together at the table.

I hope that soon, I will cook not because my father and brother are recovering, but simply because everyone is healthy and we are happy to eat together as family.

For now, I will enjoy every moment.

Simple farm life, simple food, but a heart full of love for my family.

Your place is beautiful, it looks so peaceful and refreshing. Having a cup of coffee in the morning while enjoying a view like that must feel so relaxing. For a moment, itโ€™s like you can forget about whatever problems youโ€™re dealing with and simply enjoy the peace and beauty around you.

You're Welcome Sis.

Everything will be alright soon. Just take things one day at a time and trust that, little by little, things will get better. Better days are ahead. ๐Ÿ˜˜

This is such a heartwarming story. The beautiful view and a cup of coffee (my weakness, char!) sound very relaxing. I admire how you prepared tinolang manok using native chicken and fresh papaya. Homegrown ingredients always make food taste better.

Nothing beats with homegrown ingredients, we can save our budget and we sure that all are organic. Yes, we are same with our weakness to take coffee everyday.โ˜บ๏ธ

Coffee in the morning is so filling. I take my coffee with two teaspoons of sugars with nescafe creamy latte๐Ÿ˜‡!

I don't have a regular coffee brand, but I prefer nescafe stick with birdstree milk haha!
