Yesterday, my family and I went for a walk. We are temporarily staying in the city for the weekend, but i know a place where nature is still thriving as the city progress.
As we arrived, we saw a vast body of water with a lot of mangroves all around. In the background we can see ongoing construction of different buildings in the city. And in the foreground we can see some migratory birds stopping by for a drink or looking for their food. Such a nice contrast.
I think the tall bird in this photo is an egret. It has long legs, slim white body, long neck and pointed beak. There are also smaller birds scattered all around the fish pond.

After a while, a bird went swooping in front of us. It kept on hovering in front of us as if waiting for me to capture it.

This bird is of average size and has white feathers. It has small black beak and with a little black patch on its head. This little guy looks like a gull-billed tern.
Its wings look like they are glowing because of the bright sun on our left side.
Here are a few more shots of of my new feathered friend.

I love seeing it softly glide in the air and then quickly sweeping down as if it's giving us a beautiful performance.
After a few snaps i was so satisfied of the shots i took. Then my little feathered friend went down on a last soup and flew away as if saying goodbye to me.

Goodbye my feathered friend good luck on your flight.
