Story Unfolds: Expensive Golden Clothes with Cheap Background?

Do you experience owning things for a while? Because I did! Wanna know the hidden story of that golden clothes? Okay let's dive in!

Once upon a time there's a girl named Abeng, yup that's me. We we're tasked to create a traditional dance in our P.E teacher, so we followed the teacher's order. We are 7 girls in our group, so that we've decided to choose the dance that suit our group–the very demure dance but the tradition is still being executed. We we're given one week to prepare and in that week we just practiced for 3 days I think? because our schedule is fed up.

So now let's proceed to our practice day. After days of being busy we finally have the moment to practice and that practice is just a short period of time and you know what? it's not consistent like when we have time to practice our dance presentation we always end up gossiping or doing TikTok dances–being so relax and chill thinking we can clutch the dance because the steps are easy.

Fast forward, last Friday after our class we decided to practice but the two members volunteered to buy the "Pamaypay/Abaniko"

because we needed that. They told us to pay so that they can buy, they will also look for dresses to wear. On the other hand, the five left is tasked to memorize the steps. So as the second assistant of the two they let me lead because they know I'm capable of doing it. While I was memorizing the steps and instructing them the right action there's this one member who keeps on disagreeing she always contradict of what I will say that almost lead into argument but the other members stopped me and calmed me down.

So we proceed doing our practice, when we we're done we texted the two members that we will go home because our parents is looking for us and they agreed. Weekends had past we still don't practice because our weekends is very busy so we just practiced on Monday because our dance presentation is on Tuesday, and guess what? our practice time in Monday is very short because the examination is near ughh I'm so frustrated.

Tuesday came and it's presentation day! Our members said that we will rent a clothes which is the clothes that I'm wearing in the photo–they said it's 200 pesos and omygoshhh my allowance for one week instantly vanished in just one day! I'm afraid that my mother would question me so I kept quiet. We can't do anything but to agree, we will do everything for our grades anyway. So let's go back to the presentation, we are the 4th one to present. 1st to 3rd has a really wonderful presentation and I'm worried in our presentation but I trust God, myself, and my group mates.

Later on our group is being called to present in front so we danced but our dance didn't turned up well and I'm really disappointed because they don't take the practice seriously that ends up in embarrassment. Our classmates is shouting "Okay next group" while we're still presenting because they're not amuse in our presentation.

After our presentation I really can't hide my emotions I want to burst and shout at them but I stayed quiet anyway, it's done all done! we're done embarrassing ourselves. But I guess that really happens in our life, right?

So I just distracted myself in taking photos with my friends and got a selfie because,

I got complimented that I really look good in that dress and somehow my disappointments turns to smile to laughter because they cheered us up. Slowly accepting everything so that I can forgive them and forget. It maybe not a big deal for anyone but a big deal for me because I value my grades like my life depends on it, cuz who am I without the good grades? who am I without the achievements, accomplishments? So that's why hehe, but still that's a memorable moments for me, even though we didn't have a very nice presentation but during the practice and final we shared joy and happiness.

Moral of the story: just accept things that are out of control because that's life. FORGIVE and FORGET!
