Valentine's Day cats!

Welcome to the weekend, and welcome to another Caturday update. As you probably know by now, Saturday is my favorite day of the week because Saturday means Caturday!

Of course, today is also a special day because it is Valentine's Day celebrated by the humans but also something special for us cats because we are, after all, very loving companions.

A few moments later...

Anyone who might think that a cat is not a loyal and loving pet clearly has never had a cat! We might not be as outgoing and vocal as dogs, but we care just as much.

Taking it easy!

After a few days away, the Son-Hooman is now back in the house and he's going to be here for about another month before he goes back to his seasonal job.

Of all the people who come and spend time here, I like him the best and there is always a good chance that when he is here there will be an extra treat or two coming from somewhere!

Shangri and Nala

The Hoomans have been pretty happy as of late, because the weather has been nice and sunny, and they have actually started going outside to do some of their spring gardening.

For us cats, a little sunshine is always welcome because it means there are nice sunny spots around the house where we can take naps!

Otherwise, the Dad-Hooman continues to be very busy with his artwork and I continue to be very busy being the supervisor of said artwork. As I have said many times before most Hooman jobs are best done with the supervision of a cat!

Smudge!

In other news, we are only a few days away from Smudge's 21st birthday, making her the oldest cat to ever have lived with our Hoomans. She's still in pretty good health, and pretty remarkable for her age.

Speaking of birthdays, we are also closing in on my own 8th anniversary here on Hive, as well as my 10th birthday! There will be much to celebrate, in the not too distant future!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
