Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Welcome to another Caturday update... it's my favorite day of the week, so we're going to share the latest round of cat photos!

Getting a bit of sun...

Things are very quiet in the house today because now both Hoomans have runny noses and are coughing from the "head cold" the Mom-Hooman picked up at the conference event they were attending last weekend.

They are both rather sad at the moment so we cats do our best to be cheerful, and to sit with them or sleep nearby. Cats are very empathic creatures, and we are good healers when Hoomans are feeling down!

There are cat beds all over the house, but we like sharing!

The Mom-Hooman is sitting in front of the TV on the big comfy couch, covered in soft blankets while catching up on her favorite shows. Every now and then she decides to nap, and will turn the screen over to "Kitty TV" with live feeds from people's bird feeding stations.

Meanwhile, the Dad-Hooman is trying his best to write, but sometimes he just leans back in his chair and takes a "power nap."

Shadow and Nala are almost inseparable

Whether it's snack time, sleeping, or playtime, Shadow, Shangri and Nala seem to be best buddies!

It is particularly impressive how well Shadow has taken to having two younger housemates. Makes us think he has missed having young and playful energy in his life.

Snack time! Although he is only about 8 months old, Shangri is almost as big as Shadow... and Shadow is no small cat.

Unfortunately, the weather has been very dark, rainy and wintry lately so we haven't been able to catch any pictures of our happy trio enjoying sunny spots around the house.

Because of our obvious like for being close together, the Hoomans have now replaced three of our old cat beds with larger and very soft dog beds that are big enough to accommodate three cats.

All in all, the Hoomans feel that the the whole process of integrating two new cats into the household has gone better than anyone dared to hope for!

We also seem to have struck a good balance of peace and quiet and a bit of social time for our elderly Smudge, in which she gets the benefit of friendly nose touching and headbonks without any of the crazy running around and play-fighting.

Meanwhile, we continue to hold our collective breaths, hoping that the uptrend in our Hive token will continue! About time, right?
