THE TWINS

Fifteen years ago, a woman was expecting her fourth child, she already had three children (2 girls and 1 boy). She lived at Surulere area of Lagos State then. She's a kind of woman that doesn't joke with her children, she ensures her children are comfortable despite the fact she's in an uncomfortable marriage, she endures and believes that someday there will be GLORY in her STORY. When she was pregnant, she sold fruits in the street of Lagos since she wasn't qualified for any white collar job. One of her sister in law's wedding ceremony and her mother's burial was done that year and she participated actively not using her pregnancy as excuse.
On and on went her normal life and her trade without causing any form of harm to both herself, her children and her unborn child. Families and friends went about their lives and expecting the day new person would be joining the family.

The older sister sister who was a midwife was the one that helped her during delivery. She went with her children to stay with her older sister when the date for her delivery was near, so there won't be much stress. On the 4th day of October 2008, she went into the delivery room and wow she gave birth to a boy and a girl (twins). Everyone was happy and at the same time surprised cause the stomach didn't look like she would give birth to twins.
Her children grew in strength and wisdom as the Lord helped her in raising and providing for them. Situations arises, challenges came and happiness also. Life went on but the woman's love for her children only grew stronger. Unfortunately, she lost one of her daughters (The eldest). THE WOMAN IS MY MOTHER.

THE STORY IS ABOUT THE TWINS: MIRACLE AND EMMANUEL

They are not identical, they don't look their age (they look younger) they fight alot but don't fight them, cause they will turn to fight you. Miracle is very good in school while Emmanuel isn't as good as Miracle. There was a time in their Nursery School when Emmanuel had to repeat his class because he was not doing well, mum insisted that Miracle would have to repeat the class too since they were twins. Miracle always helped Emmanuel in class and with the help of older siblings Emmanuel improved (in a class of 50 students Miracle will be ranking first position while Emmanuel is likely to be the 5th or 9th person).

Emmanuel eats alot, he's very hard-working and likes cracking jokes unlike Miracle, she's always serious, she laughs only when something is really funny, she acts matured too. (My aunt's will say Miracle is my grandma rebirthed while Emmanuel came out of the womb first because he perceived the aroma of food).
Today I'm writing to wish them long life and good success as they celebrate the day they were brought to this planet Earth. I pray things shall in pleasant places for them, I pray God grants them the best life can offer.

PS: I thought and thought but no matter how much I try to think it always ends in the fact that God knows the end from the beginning. Now I'm not left as the only female child in the family I still have a sister, so GOD KNOWS BEST.
