That Awkward Moment I'm Not Ready To Let Go Of.

There has been alot of things that has made me laugh about myself , like alot , but I will share one that happened recently, I still can't get it out of my mind.

See ehn, I sometimes just get surprised as how I find myself in some funny situations, so it's not that if was planned or something , they just happen, and then the way they will replay In your head will still make your laugh all over. So this one happened like a week ago , so it's still somehow fresh in my memory.

So about a week ago, I was on my way back from picking my daughter from school alongside her cousins, when my elder sister sent some pictures to me on WhatsApp, and it was one of those afternoons where the sun was so hot , it was the kind that would make you want to rush back to the comfort of your house, and this day I was already tired, just walking any short distance gets me tired and sweaty, but I have no choice yeah.

On a norms, I dont like pressing my phone when the sun is so high in the afternoon, but when I got the notification, surprisingly how my phone wasn't on DND that day is what I cannot explain, so the notification came in and I took out my phone from my pocket, I saw the pictures she shared lol, see there were throw back pictures seriously, I laughed because I don't have those pictures and I can't even remember when I took them. . The pictures caught me off guard, they reminded me of the version of myself that I have already forgotten about, I was just laughing and opening my teeth wild on the road.

So I decided to reply her with a voice note since it wasn't comfortable to text on the road,and also because I was carrying alot of lunch bags, the voice note was my only route.

I started with me laughing and then saying what I wanted to say, after I felt I had said enough , I looked at my phone and realised I didn't even press the record button, and I had talked for long,
Like, I had poured everything out. Laughing, explaining, even adding extra comments, only to realise I was talking to absolutely nobody.

I just stared laughing at myself in the road , Imagine those who had seen me , in my mind I was recording, not knowing I was talking to myself lol... I can only imagine how crazy I must have looked to people passing by, just one girl on the road, phone in hand, laughing and talking to herself confidently.

It was a really funny moment, one of those moments that reminds you that life just doesn’t always have to be so serious, sometimes, you are the joke, and that’s okay too, I laughed all the way home and even when I finally recorded the actual voice note, I was still laughing while explaining what happened.

So till now, anytime I just remember that day, I just start laughing, I even shared the moment with my sister and honestly she could actually relate. This just says it all that the funniest moments are ones that you didn't even try to Create.
