Here is the new prompt for the Midnight Owls:

What decision have you left to midnight to decide

Hi there, and welcome to the latest prompt for the Midnight community. In this prompt, tell us if you have ever left a decision to be decided at midnight instead of during the day. In a movie, I have heard a lot goes down at night while the city goes into hibernation. Like Batman, who saves the city late in the night, and Arrow carries out his vigilantism in Starling City. So even if we are unique superheroes in our different stories, has there ever been a scenario where you decided at midnight, and what was it?

I do not know how it works for others, but there are certain times when I have decided to stall a little bit before making a decision. I will tell myself to take more time, especially when it could be a life-changing decision. Most times, I have come to realise that midnight comes with clarity, just like when I am seated on the toilet seat playing some chess game with so much brilliance.

As usual, we give some highlights of some posts from the last prompt, and here they are:

It is not a new thing that I sometimes reflect on the meaning of life, especially during my late hours at night. Well, the thing is, the silence at midnight is soothing to make a person think about their life, especially in a 3D IMAX screen, where there are lots of movie fans watching for something tragic to happen. Only in this case, it is my emotions that were present at this viewing theatre, and they were mute all through the show because the thinking unit was busy at the moment. I was thinking about what decision I would make on the next chapter of my life. How will the lovely story of my life unfold as I move further on my journey of life? Is it fair if I ask, do you think about this, or at least feel this way sometimes?

I did not know what to do or what the decision would be; rather, I just had that thought in my head, and the feeling made a void in my heart. It is amazing how far the mind can wander when you ponder on a specific thing for too long. In the end, I made a decision to leave it up to time and just live in the moments that keep unfolding. Nothing happens without a story behind it, and maybe this is how mine unfolds.
