It's been a while in this community and I'm so glad it's that day of traveling back to memories. I've been doing more gratitude for my present and future plans and somehow forget that I could be thankful for my past too and appreciate the times I had with people who matter, my family.
A prompt on my Journal reminded me last night to be grateful for the people who I have as a family. It made me still for a few minutes realizing just how less often my gratitude have been more focused on my present, where I don't have most of my family with me, and the future.

Life is a gift, family is the biggest gift in life to me, I want to remind myself that as I go from here. In that spirit, I gave a call to my siblings who are far away from me at the moment and then, I went through my gallery to find our pictures from the past. It all gave me smiles and gratitude at heart.
These pictures are the ones we took over 3 years ago when we traveled together to go spend sometime with our mum in another state. The journey was just as fun as when we spend our time at mum's. I remember then with a big smile because it was also when I did something cool.

I took my siblings on an outing for the first time, with my own money. It was more expensive than planned but it felt so good that I wasn't worried about my money being spent, just the smiles on their faces as they enjoyed themselves and they didn't even fail to thank me in their happiness.

We had a fun time, visited a cool place where we even got lucky to buy a pizza and got one free, it was like we picked the best day for our siblings date. We felt so blessed to have stopped by that pizza house to be among the few who'd get a free pizza lol. We also got a bowl of chicken, plates of delicious rice and drinks. We took all home after.
We wanted to have our peace while eating them so we ate them at home but I remember we had our ice cream at a fast food we stopped by, it was the right time because it got very hot at one point. I told them it's something we should do often but honestly, that has not happened again since then. Well, it is still a plan in our hearts.

That’s right my friend! Although we must focus on our present, there is much to be grateful for in our past, as it was the era that shaped us into the people we are today. Gratitude is fundamental in our lives, and every little detail we experience offers a lesson—for better or for worse. I’m glad that this holds true for you as well, and that today—on this #TBT Thursday—you are able to write about that afternoon. Sending you a warm, sincere hug from afar 🙏

Family is a gift no other gift can replace. Where is out buzzy bee 🐝, haven't seen her around.
Indeed, the buzzy bee is buzzing off Hive for now. 😂
You two look alike and very beautiful too.
Family is everything one will ever ask of because they are part of us. It hurts sometimes to discover that you can't always have your families close to you. Sometimes we are far away from each other.
Thanks for sh
Haha and we don't see the resemblance people see, it's great to know sha.
It's sad but we feel comforted knowing they are well wherever they are.
