Aunt's Exhibition Memories [TBT]

Do you know one amazing thing about growth? It happens silently, but is very evident. When you look back, you can't help but marvel at how far you've come, and that is the story of my Aunt.

While speaking to my Aunt a few days ago, I couldn’t help but smile when we recounted memories from my childhood. My Aunt is my second Mum, and my success story wouldn’t be complete without her in it.

My Aunt had her art exhibition last December, and I couldn’t have been more proud of her.

Since today is Throwback Thursday, I thought I’d share pictures of her artworks from the exhibition. Putting the exhibition together was no easy feat. It was my Aunt’s first exhibition and she needed it to be as wonderful as she had dreamed of.

All thanks to our family, friends, and members of her staff, the exhibition was a huge success as all hands were on deck.

My Aunt is an all-rounder and her mantra is “Nothing spoils in my hand”. She’s a fashion designer and a ceramicist. It’s safe to say that she is killing it in both worlds.

We’ve all watched her grow from scratch to where she currently is and we do not fail to celebrate every milestone she achieves.

The theme of the exhibition was “So Much Ado with Clay”.
The exhibition was amazing. We had different people in attendance. There was food, drinks, workshop, and lots of artworks for you to admire and buy as you so please.

The prices of the artworks were affordable, making it easy for people to not only buy but also support the artist.

My Aunt had put so much into the exhibition and it did turn out great eventually.

The exhibition showcased different ceramic designs that could be used to decorate our homes, offices, gardens, etc.

Beautifully and perfectly crafted every piece was made with love and the best materials available.
The artist brought her A game and the turnout of the event was great.

I got to meet different art enthusiasts and some of my Aunt’s students too. The exhibition was both exciting and educational.

I’ll forever cherish the memories from the exhibition, as I enjoyed watching my Aunt do what she loved doing and succeeding alongside.

Since she was my Aunt, a lot of my family members were in attendance making it our little reunion. Watching my family members support their very own was a delight.

The weather also cooperated as there was no reason for us to panic.
We can’t wait for her next exhibition. Her first exhibition turned out nicely, and we are hoping that the next one will be bigger and better.

All images are mine except otherwise stated.

Thanks for stopping by
Loads of Love🥰🥰
XOXO
