My Throwback On Monday Market Here In Pankshin.

IMG_20250901_103152_513.jpg

Hello wonderful people, how's the weather over there because here is so cold and chilling over here, it's been such a busy week since our exams is around the corner and I have been stressed and tired but on remembering that today is Thursday I has to rush and type because I didn't want to miss it, so here am I and for today I would be sharing with us my experience in the market, it wasn't funny Sha.

So first of I would start by saying Monday market is the only market that's available here apart from the small small selling that woman do at the gate of FCE Pankshin, so if you want to get anything in the market you would wait till any Monday before you get anything at a cheaper rate, so as I stated earlier on I said examination is around the corner and I thought why not go and get foodstuffs that would sustain during the exams period so I won't be struggling with my books and also looking for what to eat.

So I gather some of my Hive and sold it, got #10,000 and I removed some money for refilling of my gas cylinder because I know and am very sure that it would soon finish so I didn't want it to take me unaware that's why I just saved some money and then this is me going to the market with #7500, going to buy the whole world 😁😁, of course I am just exaggerating because how possible would that be.

So I decided to start with getting Irish potato and sweet potato, I first went for the sweet potatoes and it was so cheap that I begin to imagine how costly they have been selling it to us in student area, I bought it for #1000 and it almost full the Baku bag I was holding, on seeing that it was plenty I just forget about the Irish potato because it was too cost, with the joy in my heart and the sweet potatoes in my hands I proceeded to look for other things, I saw many things that caught my attention and tempted me to go beyond my budget, i got tomatoes which wasn't in my budget, I saw big looking Ganda which wasn't also in my budget and I bought it, it was such a stressful but yet amazing moment to be in the market.

I actually went to the market this week Monday which is after four or close to five month of not been there, as I was roaming in the market trying to price everything price able as it's a custom of a woman to do so even if she isn't buying just for her to know the cost of it, I saw little little children pushing wheelbarrow, sone hawking and many other things and I was moved because when I was that age I wasn't in the streets, I was under my parents covering, that situation just made me realize that not everyone is as luck as I am.

And I was moved to thank God and also thank my parents for being there and catering for me, Infact I was under my parents coverage until I got admission, that's to tell you how long I didn't know how the other hustle looks like, so back to my narration I got most of what brought me to the market but because of shortage of money I had to skip some, my memories in the market were so amazing and it made me feel like wanting to come to the market every other Monday but finances won't allow because coming to the market alone in Keke it cost #200 but personal bike would be #300 or even more, but glory to God I was able to get one and half mudu of rice with some cups of beans, grinded pepper, kulikuli, and sone other things.

This is actually a good testimony to give that things are getting cheaper by the day than before, so this is my throw back on how my Monday went, I hope yours was well spent? Wish me good luck as I read and write my exams.

In pankshin, when you pass the school, pass general hospital and go a little further you would see it there, but much easier if you take bike just tell them Monday market, they all know the place.
Thanks for commenting
