A Weekend Of Ministry, Serving The Next Generation.

It is with all pleasure that I welcome you to this blessed Thursday, welcome to the home of memories, I have been flipping through what other people posted and I have in all sense shared in their experiences so for today I would be sharing with you all the experience I had this weekend, we went for a program where we were the host inside the town of pankshin and I hope you would enjoy this.

The theme for that program Is "Arrows in God's Quiver - psalm 127:4-5", the venue we used was Government College Pankshin and the date was on Friday 18th to Saturday 20th July, 2024. It was organized for children and teenagers and we were the organizers plus host of the event so we were practically up and doing throughout the program, there was a massive turn out both from the pupils and senior friends.

At the beginning of the program which was the first day on Friday, we used different vehicle to convey ourselves to the program ground but unfortunately the last vehicle that last had an accident but we thank God that he savaged the situation for us and those involved in the accident even though two were badly hurt but they rest were just minor injuries, after been in the hospital for some hours because of the incident some of us had to go back to the program ground.

The first day after the program and dinner that we were feed with we went to the hostel, girls to girls hostel and boys to boys hostel, it was from there that we they senior friends were assigned each person per hostel, to stay with these young girls and nurture them with the little time we spend with them, it was such a wonderful experience with those teens and children because mine was mixed with both small children and teenagers, with the help of God I would say I did my best with them although they were in their best behaviors so I was actually blessed.

The activities involved in the program was praises, drama, Bible study, exclusive classes, talk, prayers, music, academic seminar and lots more, in each of the sermon an altar call was made and at every call children in multitude would come out both those who knows the meaning of altar call and those who doesn't would all match out, there was a games section where they played all types of sport and each child was given a Bible for their personal use and as gift.

It was so stressful for me and every other senior friends present there because I were standing throughout the three days we stayed there, the only time we sat down was when we are eating or sleeping in the night if not for the rest of the remaining hours we were thro and fro in the hall coordinating and controlling those children and teenagers. It was so stressful, my legs were paining me, I had strain my voice alot, but it was for a good cause which is the work of My Father in Heaven, so that was how I spent my weekend, I made friends with some teenager girls and it was such a lovely experience as I could see much of my younger self in those girls.
