Gloomy Sunset Cliffs and Dana Point - SoCal [EN/PT-BR]

I haven't had many opportunities to go out and fly my drone lately, but this week I had a couple. I went to Sunset Cliffs with a friend earlier this week, and decided to take my drone with me. Also, today I had to drive to Los Angeles and on the way back I decided to stop at Dana Point to get a few shots there.
The problem is that lately the weather has been super gloomy on the coast. There is this dense fog that comes from the ocean most of the day, and in some areas all day long. It's interesting that if you drive just a few miles inland, the sun is shining bright!

The day I spent at Sunset Cliffs wasn't that bad, but definitely not sunny, let's check out some pictures.

Não tenho tido muitas oportunidades de sair para voar meu drone ultimamente, mas esta semana tive duas. Fui a Sunset Cliffs com um amigo no início da semana e decidi levar meu drone comigo. Além disso, hoje tive que ir até Los Angeles e, no caminho de volta, decidi parar em Dana Point para tirar algumas fotos lá.
O problema é que, ultimamente, o tempo tem estado muito ruim no litoral. Há uma densa neblina que vem do oceano durante a maior parte do dia e, em algumas áreas, o dia todo. O interessante é que, se você dirigir apenas alguns quilômetros para o pra dentro, o sol ta brilhando forte!

O dia que passei em Sunset Cliffs não foi tão ruim, mas definitivamente não tinha sol, vamos ver algumas fotos.

Sunset Cliffs is a famous surf spot in San Diego. It's a reef break that is quite far offshore. Surfers have to paddle quite a bit to get out there. That day had some pretty good small waves and a lot of surfers in the water. If you look close in the first 3 pictures above, you will see the surfers and the reefs below.
Then you can see a sequence of photos I took of a surfer. I'm pretty sure he would love to see these, but I don't know who he is.
The following pictures I got closer to the shore and are from the cliffs right in front of Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, where I took off my drone. I was in a trail on top of the cliffs.

Sunset Cliffs é um famoso ponto de surfe em San Diego. É um reef break que fica longe da costa. Os surfistas precisam remar um bocado para chegar lá. Naquele dia, havia algumas ondas pequenas muito boas e muitos surfistas na água. Se você olhar de perto nas três primeiras fotos acima, verá os surfistas e os recifes abaixo.
Em seguida, você pode ver uma sequência de fotos que tirei de um surfista. Tenho certeza de que ele adoraria ver essas fotos, mas não sei quem ele é.
As fotos a seguir eu tinha chegado mais perto da costa e são dos penhascos bem em frente ao Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, onde decolei meu drone, eu estava em uma trilha no topo dos penhascos.

Now the pictures above, I flew over Sunset Cliffs cave. This cave is a very interesting place, it's a cave with an open ceiling. If you pay attention to the pictures, you can see the opening for the ocean and another one on top. This cave can be accessed by foot on negative tides, note that this day the tide was low, and there was still water at the cave entrance. I went there once on a negative tide, and made a post about it. It's worth checking it out the old post and compare both days.

Agora, nas fotos acima, voei sobre a caverna de Sunset Cliffs. Essa caverna é um lugar muito interessante, é uma caverna com teto aberto. Se você prestar atenção nas fotos, poderá ver a abertura para o oceano e outra no topo. Essa caverna pode ser acessada a pé em marés negativas, observe que nesse dia a maré estava baixa e ainda havia água na entrada da caverna. Eu fui lá uma vez em uma maré negativa e fiz um post sobre isso. Vale a pena dar uma olhada no post antigo e comparar os dois dias.

The pictures above are just a few from the stairwell in front of Ladera St. This is the only stairwell in Sunset Cliffs to access the water. There are other spots where you can go down, but just trails in the cliffs.

Now, to finish this post, I'm going to show just a few pictures of Dana Point. I actually want to make one post just about this amazing place, but it will have to be sometime in the near future. Today when I was there, the fog was too dense and the pictures are not so good. So I will wait for another opportunity to talk a little more about this place. But since I was there, let's put here a little teaser. There are so many features to take photos, that I can't wait for an opportunity in a sunny day.

As fotos acima são apenas algumas da escada em frente à Ladera St. Essa é a única escada em Sunset Cliffs que dá acesso à água. Há outros pontos onde você pode descer, mas apenas trilhas nos penhascos.

Agora, para finalizar este post, vou mostrar apenas algumas fotos de Dana Point. Na verdade, quero fazer um post só sobre esse lugar incrível, mas terá de ser em um futuro próximo. Hoje, quando estive lá, a neblina estava muito densa e as fotos não ficaram muito boas. Portanto, vou aguardar outra oportunidade para falar um pouco mais sobre esse lugar. Mas já que estive lá, vamos dar uma pequena amostra. Há tantas possibilidades para tirar fotos, que mal posso esperar por uma oportunidade em um dia ensolarado.
