The Big Story: @siddhartaz

There is no honest way to write this post without leading with one name.

@siddhartaz entered Season 2 and proceeded to body an entire universe. He created more moons than anyone else — by a significant margin — through relentless, precise, human play. Fleet timings, ninja attacks, and battle rhythms that left newer players genuinely wondering if they were watching a person or a script.

They were watching a person. Specifically, a person with approximately 20 years of OGame experience who understood exactly what this game was asking of him and delivered it at full intensity over nine months.

He was flagged by our experimental detection tooling — the same alerts you may have seen pop up in-game or in Discord from time to time. We want to be transparent about how we think about multi-accounting: we're not interested in being some sort of "fun police" - this is not fun for us. What we can do is make activity visible to the whole community in real time, so everyone plays with the same information. No secret advantages, no hidden alts. His alt account @siddhartaz1 was known, other players with excess time used a similar strategy - and still — still — the performance was an incredible result.

He showed mastery over timing, and some ninja techniques that some may never have seen before. That is the not the type of player who we want to scare off, a top player can make a game worth running as long as players are motivated, even perhaps motivated to collaborate in contra.

How the Prize Pool Works

Looking at @moon.deposit - we have over 139k pizza. These we have decided to divide as follows:

67,000 PIZZA reward pool "Season 2"
33,500 "team"
38,700+ to future reward pool.

The Season 2 PIZZA pool was originally announced for moon creation battles recorded throughout the season. That said, I am not satisfied by how hard it was announced, I probably should have said it two or three more times and in a few more places throughout the season, so we will have two funds:

• Moon Fund (80% — 53,600 PIZZA): Distributed to the attackers and defenders who participated in moon creation events, proportional to activity.
• "Pity Pool" by Tech (20% — 13,400 PIZZA): For players who were active participants that did not make the list of moon creation, we have created a "pity" pool with a tech level floor.

What happens next?

Planet migrations are underway. If your planet is on the list above, you'll receive an in-game notification when it has been moved. Fleets will be as they were at snapshot. Research syncs to your best across both universes. You may end up with more planets than your current slot limit allows — that's intentional, and documented: you simply can't recover a slot if you delete one until you're back within your cap - so keep up that expedition research!

Universe 1 is open, has been open. You don't need to wait - there are big fish there too.

Season 3 planning is in motion. There are, frankly, too many ideas. If you want to help shape what comes next, the Discord is the place to be.
