Enchanted by Beauty: My Visit to Komaneka Hotel on Bisma Street, Ubud

Walking into Komaneka Hotel on Bisma Street in Ubud, I was amazed by its beauty. The lobby was calm and welcoming, with a lovely pond at the entrance filled with colorful fish. Nearby, cozy chairs and sofas made of wood and soft white fabric were adorned with sculptures, adding an artistic touch.

Throughout the lobby, multiple chandeliers cast a warm orange glow, illuminating the space under. One particularly caught my eye, shining on a tall, carved wooden sculpture that resembled a mountain.

What fascinated me most were the intricately carved faces of people within the wooden mountain sculpture, each one telling its own silent story.

In one corner, there was a Balinese door sculpture with intricate carvings, purely for decoration.

To the right, a large pond shimmered peacefully, with a bar ready to serve guests in the quiet morning. But, it seems that nobody want to go to bar this morning. They were busy at breakfast.

A friendly trainee from Bangli was meticulously arranging fruits at the tables next to the bar, as part of the hotel's attentive service.

On the left, more chairs and tables were waiting for guests, next to a long, modern painting on the wall.

Looking down from the edge of the pool, I saw a swimming pool three stories below, surrounded by a restaurant and umbrellas. Beyond that, there was a bright green rice field and a view of the lush Balinese forest.

Standing there, surrounded by so much beauty, I felt peaceful while waiting for my clients, a refreshing change from the busy traffic earlier.
