Crypto-Shots : Mars Map Released on $WAX, soon on $HIVE!

Cryptoshot has released their Stage 2 Map, known as 'Mars' and with it the $MARS token. While the Map is not publicly available on $HIVE's 'play2earn' mode yet, our Guild founder @jim-crypto has been granted Whitelist access and went on a mission to explore the new Map.

$THGAMING Curation Contract Updated

Before we delve into the Mars Map we wanted to let our guild members know that we will be adding #cryptoshots to our Hive Curation Contract, within 48 hours of this post going live. This means that people using the cryptoshots hashtag in their posts will now earn $THGAMING Tokens. This is the first P2E Game we have partnered with in such a big way and should encourage more Hive Bloggers to post about Crypto-Shots on their favourite Blogging platforms, but we highly recommend using the Official Crypto-Shots Community. This also means that our official Guild Curators will be able to search for and upvote crypto-shots tagged posts, helping to spread the word and promote the game on Hive.

Review : The Mars Map - Size Matters

When jumping into the new Map you will notice a few things straight off the bat. Firstly, it is much bigger than the previous Maps, and to be honest a bit scary at first. Many different buildings greet you and your character needs to walk outside (onto Mars) and clear out buildings before moving on.

KEY FINDINGS

• There are a number of obstacle courses which will need you to use a bit of gaming skill to negotiate, a bit more complex than the first two Crypto-shots maps released.
• New Guns mean you'll need to figure out what they all do, and which ones should be used for small drone, large drone or saved for the Boss at the end.
• You don't need to clear all the Drones, or buildings, on this Map to complete it; simply find the Boss at the end and take him down. My first time playing I tried to take down ALL DRONES and ran out of Ammo for the final Boss.

Drones will attack you outside of the buildings, so you're never truly safe!

I ran out of ammo and couldn't take down the Boss at the end, so ammo conservation is quite important and something that you'll need to take into consideration when the Map is officially released on Hive.

Crypto-Shots First Person Shooter

@cryptoshots.nft was our first official Game partnership on Hive. We have run quite a few Community Competitions, joined AMA's and Twitch tournaments, and kept in constant communications with the core development team of the game.

The Crypto-Shots Competition

To celebrate the Release of Mars we have some fantastic loot to share with Crypto-Shots players; both experienced gamers and first timers! 6 Main Prizes and 10 Runners Up will be chosen, meaning 16 Winners in total. First lets take a look at the Prizes:

It's pretty easy to enter, and you can do so in one of four ways. You only need Enter using one of these options :

1. PLAY for free at www.crypto-shots.com, and screenshot yourself winning a battle. Share your screenshot in a comment below.

2. STREAM Crypto-Shots on your Twitch or Youtube channel and share your stream link (with timestamps) in a comment on this post.

3. WRITE a post about Crypto-Shots in their Official CShots Hive Community, and share it in a comment.

4. UPLOAD a Crypto-Shots featured video to YouTube and/or Twitter, and include #cryptoshots #nft #gaming in the description. Again, share the link in a comment on this post.

• Please also include your $HIVE or $WAX WALLET in the comment, so that we know where to send the prizes.

For this competition all entries will be accepted. However you can only win ONCE per account.

ENTRY RULES

• The Top 6 Pack Winners (main prizes) will be based on 'Content Quality', meaning the judges reserve the right to choose the winning entries we feel are the most deserving.

• The 10x WILDCARD Entries will be chosen through a random draw by @jim-crypto (THGaming Guild Founder).

• Only one win is allowed per person (account), but you may enter once per day.
