Hello Splinterlands Summoners and welcome to my blog! Another season has just ended. I finished in Gold I League and earned around 100k Glints. I spent most of it on reward chests. This time, instead of buying just one rarity, I used my Glints to buy commons and epic cards. I was able to upgrade my common cards and obtain new epics.

Cullborn Revenant is a Fire common card. The upgrade to level 3 only added one more speed stat. I still need eight more copies to upgrade it to level four to gain one more health. It deals two magic damage and has the Snipe ability.

Surgeblade got a significant upgrade from level one. It jumped to level three gaining one attack and the Reveal ability. Reveal exposes Camouflaged enemy units every round. This is a good addition to my Water deck which is focused on magic cards.

I like it when cards gain abilities. Husk of the Hunter is an Earth splinter card. It jumps to level three from level one. It gained one health stat and the Headwinds ability, decreasing enemy ranged attack by one. It deals three ranged damaged of its own, has two speed, an armor and six health.

Palimpest Prophet is a Life splinter, three mana card. It deals one melee damage and has two speed. It has two health and increased its armor to two after upgrading to level two. It has the Flying ability which is great in Earthquake rulesets. It also has the Charge ability enabling it to attack with melee from afar.

Phlegmor is another low mana Life card. I upgraded it from level one to three where it gained one health and one speed stats. I would like to upgrade it to four and gain the Strengthen ability.

Tandi Janda is an Earth splinter card. He's an Ulund so he can be used by the Life splinter archon. He deals two melee damage and has two speed. He's got an armor and five health on defense. He has the Wing Break ability but I'm not sure how it works since he's a melee attacker. I don't know if he can hit with melee from afar with the Wing break ability.

The Wailworn Specter is a welcome addition to my Water Magic team. It deals two magic damage, has two speed and three health. It has the Bloodline Tribute ability so it will buff Undeads when it gets defeated in battle.

The rulesets in this battle included Keep your Distance and Fog of War. No melee attackers were allowed and units lose Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity abilities. I decided to go with Earth splinter since the archon debuffs enemy magic attacks.

Ulundin Overseer has no attack but it has high defensive stats. It has five armor and twelve health making it an ideal tank in this battle.

Arcane Skinwalker deals two magic damage and has two speed. It has four armor and five health on defense. Further, it has the Shapeshift ability making it eligible to benefit from the Bloodline buff of my elf archon.

Silverleaf Warlock deals two magic damage and has the Swiftness ability. He is an elf so he also gets the Execute ability from the elf archon.

Another elf that deals two magic damage. Sorrow Harvester debuffs the enemy's health with her Weaken ability.

Aranduriel is an elf that deals three ranged damage.

Blackmoor Jinx is a one mana filler unit. It only deals one ranged damage.
The enemy decided to go for an all magic unit team. This gave me an advantage since my archon debuffs magic attacks. However, the enemy's units are not push overs. Included in his team Warborn Shaman who deals three magic damage and has the Void Armor ability. He also has Gravebrand Warlock who deals three magic damage and buffs his team with one speed. In addition, he has a healer Arachne Weaver. Normally, this team gives me troubles but my team has great synergy.
The Ulundin Overseer proved to be a sturdy tank and was able to survive the enemy attacks while allowing my damage dealers to eliminate the enemy team. The enemy units have low health and my elves has Execute ability and were able to dispose of the enemy quickly before they can defeat my tank.
It's another great season. I was able to earn around 320 SPS and 100k Glints. I increased my stake and improved my deck by earning reward cards and buying some core sets. I'll continue to build my deck and increase my SPS stake. This is what makes Splinterlands fun, playing the game while being rewarded with increasing game assets.
