Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome back to my blog! Season 90 has just finished. I ranked in sixty two in Silver League this season earning me extra glints. I used SplinterStats to generate the following data.

I ended up in rank sixty two of Modern Silver League. I earned 6,250 bonus glints for making it to the top 100 of the season. Using the new Escalation cards helped boost my wins. I hope I can continue the same performance in the next season.

I earned 34k Glints and 107 SPS from rank battles. The SPS rewards almost doubled from last week's 53 SPS rank rewards. I'm pleased with my performance this season.

Total SPS reward earned was 211, lower compared to last season's 225 inspite of higher rank battle rewards. The reason is the lower brawl rewards since brawls were not yet completed when season ended. I would guess that next season's SPS earnings from brawls will be significantly higher.

A new ruleset, Junior Varsity, was introduced during the season. Only units and archons with six mana and below can be played. For this ruleset, I usually choose the Death splinter with magic units. Having the Armored Up included in the ruleset was another incentive to field a magic team. I wrote about the Frontier archons being used in Modern Leagues and that's what I tried this season. In this battle, I used the Death Frontier archon. The rest of the units were composed of the following units.
Ujurak Brake is a decent anti magic tank that I also use in Noxious Fumes ruleset because of his Immunity ability. He's got decent defensive stats of five armor and nine health for tank duties. Unfortunately, my team wasn't able to take advantage of his Silence ability against magic units.
Shadowfey Shiek is one of the units I use in Earthquake rulesets because of its Flying ability. It deals two magic damage, has two armor, five health and two speed. It add to its health every time it damages its target with its Life Leech ability.
Little Sister is a legendary Frontier card that I also use in Modern mode. Her stats and abilities are almost the same as Shadowfey Shiek's but she has a lower health stat even at level two.
The Silverleaf Warlock is a magic unit that I use not only on Death splinter but also on Earth where he benefits from the archon's Execute ability. He has decent stats overall and has the Swiftness ability to buff his team with extra speed.
Bren Palesworn is a strong unit in the Junior Varsity ruleset. He deals dual damage of two range and one melee, has two armor, four health and three speed. He also has the Sneak ability to target the enemy back line.
The Arachne Weaver adds sustainability to my team with its Corrupted Healing ability. On stats, he deals two magic damage, has two speed, two armor and four health. He can't heal himself but he sustains his health by his Scavenger ability.
The enemy had a higher level archon and used an all melee line up. His positioning was a bit dubios like placing Executioner Kraan in the middle instead of the front where he can be effective. Also, his units had low health that were easily defeated by my team.
