Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome back to my blog!

Saltwraith Pirates are Captain Frankie's crew on his ship. They are fast and agile who can take on any who challenges the Saltwraith.
On conclave duty, they run the ropes while surveyors load crates and charts, then meet whatever the coast coughs up with short blades and shorter tempers. Give them a rail to hold and a reason to hold it, and would-be heroes trying to take the Saltwraith's deck go back over the side a few pints short of blood.
Their days are marked by the scuff of boots, the snap of line, the clang of steel, and the kind of work that leaves them exhausted (and often bloodied) when it's over. If one drops, another takes up the slack. Frankie demands it. So does his crew.

The Saltwraith Pirate is a four mana, neutral tank. At maxed levels, it deals three melee damage and has two speed. On defense it has two armor and six health. It doesn't have defensive abilities but its abilities are geared more on offense. It has True Strike which means its attack cannot be avoided even though it's slow. It also has Relentless Strike that will deal true damage against targets with Shield. At level one it already has the Bloodline Tribute ability which in my opinion is its best ability. It powers up other Rodentians when it gets defeated in battle.

The Saltwraith Pirate can play tank in low mana battles owing to its stats and abilities. It will be better to combo it with other melee Rodentians to take advantage of its Bloodline Tribute ability. To maximize its potential, it will be better to use Captain Frankie as an archon.

Captain Frankie grants the Inspire ability to all Rodentians and Tideborn. Then fill the team with melee units like Kervik, Skritka, Broken Earth Thug and Gonach Excavator. The Inspire from several units can multiply the melee power of the team.

The battle was from one of my own. The ruleset was Little League and accepted only units with four mana and below. I chose the Dragon archon but maybe I should have used Razi Clanktrap instead. I had the Saltwraith Pirate as a sacrificial tank. He is followed by Thragha who will take over tank duties when Saltwraith Pirate gets eliminated. Next is Ironwing Juggernaut. It's a reliable melee card for low mana battles. Included in the team are two Rodentians that will power up when the Saltwraith Pirate gets defeated. I also had Dark Arborist that I usually place in front of Gonach Excavator. I forgot that it will not have the Painforge ability because the archon I used was dragon instead of Razi.
The enemy had the Fire team. He seemed to have mispositioned his first and second cards. The Halfling Refugee should have been first followed by Taye Loreswift. His other cards were good and included a healer and strong back line attackers. My Rodentians carried the battle, defeating enemy units in the back while Dark Arborist dampened the enemy melee attackers with its Demoralize ability. The enemy's mistake in positioning also contributed to his loss.
