Our guild has finished another brawl. We had a terrible performance this time, finishing next to the last in rankings. In today’s post, I’ll be sharing a breakdown of our overall brawl results, my personal contribution and my favorite battles.

Guild Rank and Performance

We had a terrible brawl, ranking ninth out of ten participants. We scored forty four wins and lost twenty eight battles. There's a huge gap between our guild and ones above us. I don't know how we did so badly after finishing in sixth place last time.

My own stats were not so bad. I won six battles out of nine, contributing eighteen points to our guild. Each of us who joined earned 2.4k Merits and 24 SPS. It's rather low compared to our previous brawls.

Featured Battles

Heavy Metal and Counterspell Rulesets

We can only summon armored units in this battle and it discourages use of magic units. There's only one splinter available so there's no choice but to use Bela Ratajowlski. She's an Ulund archon and grants the Shield ability to all Ulunds. The rest of my units were as follows.

Leolin Sifu

Leolin Sifu is an epic tank that deals three melee damage and has two speed. He has good defensive stats of six armor and eight health. He has no other defensive abilities but has True Strike ability, allowing her to not miss any attacks.

Marisol Contuna

My second tank is also an epic and a gladiator card. Marisol Contuna deals massive five melee damage and has great speed of five. He also has great defensive stats of four armor and eight health. He has the Reach ability making him a good unit to play in second position.

Ironwing Juggernaut

Ironwing Juggernaut is a three mana card that deals two melee damage, has two speed, three armor and four health. It has the Charge ability allowing it to attack with melee from the back. It's a decent tank in low mana battles and in this one, it serves as my third tank.

Pixie Knife Hurler

Pixie Knife Hurler is the only Ulund in my team. He's a range unit but can also play as tank because of its stats and abilities. He deals two range damage, has three speed, two armor and six health. He has Close Range ability that allows him to attack with range from first position. He also has a defensive ability, Dodge. Being an Ulund, he gains Shield ability from the archon.

Chaos Battlemage

Chaos Battlemage is a decent range damage dealer. She has three range attack and Piercing ability that enables excess attacks to go through armor.

Luceheim Demon

Luceheim Demon is another good range damage dealer with three attack. Its speed stat is low at one but it's a good unit to play in Noxious Fumes ruleset because of its Cleanse ability.

My opponent almost had the same team composition as mine but had some differences. His tank is Silverblade Fighter which is weaker than my Leolin Sifu. His abilities are not used in this battle like Void Armor since I didn't use any magic units. His Flank ability also gave him no benefit since his second unit already had the Reach ability. It's stats are also lower than my tank. This gave me an advantage and won the battle.

Battle 2

The next battle had no ruleset. I chose Dragon and combined it with Fire. This is the usual combination I use whenever I use the Dragon splinter. I have a two tank combo with Drybone Megalodon and Molten Elemental. This is followed by a third tank, Night Reaper who deals three magic damage. My gladiator and keycard in this battle is Fina Voxom. She deals four melee damage and has Opportunity and Piercing abilities. With her stats and abilities, she can defeat enemies in one hit and trigger her Bloodlust thus increasing her stats. The rest of my team is completed by range units Chaos Battle Mage and Syrenth who has Taunt ability.

The enemy had plenty of low health cards and were immediate targets of Fina. They were disposed of in one shot and gave me an easy win.
