Our guild has just finished another brawl. We were a bit better in this week's brawl compared to the last. However, I made a mistake that tanked my individual results. In today’s post, I’ll share a breakdown of our overall brawl results, share my personal contribution and feature a few of my favorite battles.

Guild Rank and Personal Performance

We finished the brawl in sixth place, a lot better than last week's ninth place. We scored sixty eight wins against eighty four losses. We are nowhere near fifth place guild, Splinters Trouble who had eighty six wins. Still, we earned seventy five crowns that we can use for guild building improvement.

We could have had a higher score if not for my mistake. It seems I had a brain fart and failed to submit teams in some frays thereby losing by default. I only scored three wins out of eight. I was punished by not earning the full rewards, only 1k merits and 13 SPS.

Featured Battles

Battle 1 - Absolute Chaos with Pandemonium Ruleset

New ruleset Pandemonium is my least favorite. It throws away card positioning which is one of the core strategies in Splinterlands. We just have to lay our cards and hope that it gets at least a good position. In this battle I chose the Earth splinter and had Quora as my gladiator followed by elves to take advantage of the archon's Bloodline Dominion ability, Execute. I have two one mana filler cards to complete the team.

The enemy also chose Earth but had Rebellion archon Underboss Fabino. His gladiator was Katrelba Gobson but the rest of his units were weaker than mine. The position was the worst that can be expected as my range unit was placed in first position. I still won owing to the strength of my gladiator and elven units.

Battle 2 - Quora vs Fina

The next battle was a fight between my two favorite gladiator cards. We both had the Earth archon Kaylia Silverleaf. My team had Quora as my gladiator card while the enemy had Fina Voxom. I had Virid Venomancer assist Quora with her Shield Ward ability. Then I had Grove Doomblade to harass the enemy's backline. Living Berm is a strong range card that deals four damage that I placed in fifth position then in last I had the Silverleaf Mage as my Taunt unit.

The enemy had four legendary cards in his team including his gladiator. In front, he had Decripit Windseer, a card whose death will add stats to other elves. Next he had Lord Thanalor who deals three magic attacks. Then he also have Gramel the Hunger in his team, the only card that has triple attack. He also had the Silverleaf Mage in his team to Taunt. Both of our Taunt units died in the same round. Meanwhile the enemy's Fina got her Bloodlust triggered with two kills while Quora killed the enemy's Windseer, also triggering her bloodlust.

The battle went to two vs one but Quora's healing spelled the difference.
