Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome back to my blog!
I wrote about the Conjurer's Hubris in this post. I was reluctant to buy it since I can only afford one copy and it can't attack with melee from afar unless it's upgraded to at least level two. However, I found a possible way to maximize it's use at level one so I went ahead and bought one copy. I didn't use vouchers though, rather I indirectly used vouchers to save some DEC.
Conjurer's Hubris cost one hundred vouchers. We can directly use our vouchers but I didn't do it this way. Instead, I swapped 100 vouchers for 2.9k DEC first.

Then I went to the in game market and bought a copy of the card for close to 2.5k DEC, saving over 400 DEC in the process. It may not be much but if you're buying multiple copies then you can save a lot of DEC.

I used Conjurer's Hubris as a second position unit behind Doomshield Warden who has the Flank ability. This ability will enable Conjurer's Hubris to attack with melee from second position thus maximizing its offensive potential. The rest of my team were composed of magic damage dealers that still have synergy among them. The Abyssal Elemental has the Resurgence ability that enables it to resurrect with full health. Torrent Sniper has the Painforge ability that is perfect since I had the Shock Trooper in the team. Next is the Mystic Scaleweaver that slows down the enemy. Finally I had the Shock Trooper with its high magic damage in return for its Electrified debilitation. It has a Swiftness ability that adds speed to my team. It nullified the Slow debuff from the enemy.
The enemy also had the Water magic team and use Commander Slade as a tank. His other units are almost similar to mine but he has a couple of notable units. Warborn Shaman has a deals four magic damage and has the Void armor ability, adding another layer of defense against magic attacks. He also had Captain Fellblade who had dual attacks but cannot attack with melee from last position. He had a unit that was weaker than mine, the Water Logged Wizard that was underpowered compared to other cards. My stronger cards and better synergy gave me the win in this battle. I'm not that satisfied with Conjurer's Hubris at level one. I may buy more to level him up to two and get the Apex Strike ability.
