In this week of splinterlands social media challenge, I will be talking about one of my biggest fights. It lasted so long I didn’t really think it was ever going to end. At one point I was scared because of how long it was getting and my opponents' monsters, especially the one at the first position. Although I got to win at the end of the day, It wasn’t an easy win and I got to learn a couple of lessons from the battle. I got the Idea of the strategy after losing some weeks ago to another opponent who used it on me. Trying it out myself made me understand the ruleset better and made some adjustment because the one I lost had little difference in the rulesets.
For this battle, the rulesets were that all monsters were given the blast ability and at the same time had rebirth abilities. The difference in rulesets with the one I lost was that for this battle, I could only use neutral monsters. At first this made it difficult for me to choose my monsters especially because I didn’t really have many neutral monsters, plus I was intending to use monsters with reflective shield ability when I saw the blast ability given to all monsters. But Unfortunately, I wasn’t having neutral monsters with that ability. As a result I knew I needed to choose my monsters very carefully.
I was sure to target monsters with very high health after taking a look at my cards, I knew I needed speed and health. I wish I got a reflective shield though, But I was able to get one monster with self healing ability, and another that had repair ability. I was hoping that since I got a summoner that gives speed and shield, a monster with repair ability would be able to repair a broken shield. At the end of the day it was all worth it especially because my opponent really did not hold back on the attack and so did I.
For the first position I needed a monster with very high health. When I saw the Xenith monk, I knew immediately that it would be in the first position. Its ability to heal each time it takes a hit makes it perfect for that position Plus the fact that it has a good amount of speed. Since the summoner gives amore, it becomes more protected. Then for the second position, I used Junker with the repair ability, I also used Coeurl Lucker because it had plenty of health, alongside dodge and taunt ability to distract my opponents monsters into attacking just one one monster while the rest of my monsters attacked all monsters. Overall the strategy worked, and I won lol.
Truth be told the splinterlands game is very unpredictable, but that’s just what makes it fun and if you think you will like to try out all the amazing experiences, feel free to join in here

That wa a very interesting battle, man. I haven't played more than 1 ruleset in a battle before because I'm not leveling up due to my inconsistency with playing. But bro, where do you guys get all these leveled-up cards? Show me way, boss🤲😭
