Here we are again this week. I have the fan on my desk right now, and I'm writing in the heat of summer in the northern hemisphere. But you know, I love coming here, sitting in front of the keyboard, and writing these analyses, so this week I couldn't miss it. Also, this week we have a battle and an analysis that I couldn't have chosen better. A legendary card that you'll see on both sides of the battle to compare its effects and usage strategies. Believe me when I tell you, this week, you're going to like my contribution to the Social Media Challenge and find it really interesting. Aquí estamos una semana más. Tengo ahora mismo el ventilador encima de la mesa y estoy escribiendo entre los calores propios del verano en el hemisferio norte. Pero es que, ya sabéis, que venir aquí, sentarme delante del teclado y ponerme a realizar estos análisis me encanta así que, esta semana, no podía faltar a la cita. Además, esta semana tenemos una batalla y un análisis que no podría haber elegido mejor. Una carta legendario que verás en los dos lados de la batalla para comparar sus efectos y su estrategia de uso. Creéme si te digo que, esta semana, mi aporte para el Social Media Challenge te va a gustar y te va a resultar realmente interesante. If I recall correctly, this week's card isn't the first to fall under the Gloridax Gladiators race. Well, first of all, let me introduce you. The card we're analyzing this week is none other than the legendary Larissa Kerato. You're about to discover her defining power on the battlefield. The lore tells us that she's one of the few survivors of a nearly extinct race known as the shamen. They faced off against the Titan of Doom in a legendary epitaph, and virtually all of the shamen who fought there perished on the battlefield against such a formidable rival. A dragon witnessed that magnificent sacrifice and took it upon itself to protect and help the few shamen who survived, and thanks to that dragon, the shamen are slowly rebuilding. With this magnificent lore, it's easy to understand that our Larissa Kerato belongs in the dragon deck. It couldn't be any other way.
Si no recuerdo mal, la carta de esta semana no es la primera que se encuadra en la raza de los Gloridax Gladiators. Bueno, antes de nada, te presento. La carta que analizamos esta semana es nada más y nada menos que la legendaria Larissa Kerato. Vas a descubrir su determinante poder en el campo de batalla. El lore nos indica que es una de las pocas supervivientes de una raza casi extinta conocida como los chamen. Se enfretaron en un epitafio legendario al Titan of Doom y la practica totalidad de los chamen que allí combatieron perecieron en el campo de batalla ante tan formidable rival. Un dragón presenció aquel magnífico sacrificio y se encargó de proteger y ayudar a los pocos chamen que sobrevivieron y, gracias a aquel dragón, los chamen se están recomponiendo poco a poco. Con este magnífico lore es facil entender que nuestra Larissa Kerato pertenece al mazo dragón. No podía ser de otra forma.
As for the analysis of Larissa Kerato's abilities and characteristics, we find a legendary card that, as you've already read, belongs to the Dragon deck, that great unknown among Splinterlands decks. It has magic attack and, at its current level 1, which is the one I have, it already provides two attack points, two speed points, and three vitality points with a summoning cost of seven points, which is not excessively bad as you will see below. In its evolution, it will not obtain any improvements in its basic abilities, but in return, it will gain a special ability with each promotion. At first, we already get Double Strike and Bloddlust, like the good Gladius card that Larissa Kerato is. That is, no less than 4 magic attack points per turn thanks to that ability. Then it will obtain Void at level 2, Dispel at 3, and Blast in its fourth and final upgrade. Not bad at all.
En cuanto al análisis en sí de las habilidades y características de Larissa Kerato nos encontramos una carta legendaria que, como ya has leído, pertenece al mazo dragón, ese gran desconocido de los mazos de Splinterlands. Cuenta con ataque mágico y, en su nivel 1 que es el que tengo en la actualidad, ya aporta dos puntos de ataque, dos de velocidad y tres de vitalidad con un coste de invocación de siete puntos, lo cual no está excesivamente mal como verás a continuación. En su evolución no va a obtener ninguna mejora en sus habilidades básicas pero, a cambio, va a ganar una habilidad especial con cada ascenso. De primeras ya obtenemos Double Strike y Bloddlust como buena carta Gladius que es Larissa Kerato. Es decir, nada menos que 4 puntos de ataque mágico por turno gracias a esa habilidad. Después obtendrá Void en el nivel 2, Dispel en el 3 y Blast en su cuarta y última mejora. Nada pero que nada mal.

I'm not going to lie to you: there was a moment in the middle of the fight when I thought a painful defeat was coming. The speed of the opposing Djinn Oshannus caused a multitude of failures in my attacks, and my Djinn fell well before its own. A critical moment in the fight in which, finally, two good successes in two attacks, thanks to Double Strike, from Larissa Kerato, once again tipped the game in my favor and, ultimately, culminated in a good victory and a good reward for my level at the time of the fight. In this example battle, you have seen how the Double Strike ability, when it comes into play, can completely change the course of a game. And even more important if this double attack is added to a magic attack that, as you well know, bypasses the opponent's shield and directly damages the vitality of the attacked target. In short, a fight in which the analyzed card has been decisive and in which you have been able to see that, indeed, Larissa Kerato has a place in your roster and strategies, or not?
No te voy a engañar que hubo un momento en mitad del combate en el que pensé que se venía una dolorosa derrota. Y es que la velocidad del Djinn Oshannus rival provocó multitud de fallos en mis ataques y mi Djinn cayó bastante antes que el suyo. Momento crítico de combate en el que, finalmente, dos buenos aciertos en dos ataque, gracias a Double Strike, de Larissa Kerato volvieron a decantar la partida a mi favor y, finalmente, culminó en una buena victoria y una buena recompensa para mi nivel en el momento del combate. En esta batalla de ejemplo has podido comprobar como la habilidad Double Strike, cuando entra en juego, puede variar por completo el rumbo de una partida. Y con más importancia aún si este doble ataque se añade a un ataque mágico que, como bien sabes, evita el escudo del rival y daña directamente la vitalidad del objetivo atacado. En resumen, combate en el que la carta analizada ha sido determinante y en el que has podido comprobar que, efectivamente, Larissa Kerato tiene sitio en tu roster y estrategias, ¿o no?
