The Price On The Cross

Easter Celebration isn't just any festival, but one that gives birth to the religion Christianity, and on it is our hope built. The promise of salvation was fulfilled on this day when Christ said it is finished on the cross.

After the fall of man in the garden of Eden, men became slaves to sin and all which wasn't the will of God for humanity. But God had one plan, to restore men to himself and create an atmosphere where he lives within us like the days in the garden of Eden. That plan was Jesus, his only begotten.

First, he lived among men teaching them the way to redemption and the one way in which men would be saved. He called himself the way, the truth, and the light and revealed his manifold as the word of God which was there from the very beginning. He wasn't there to change the order of things, but to amend that which was broken.

The only way we could be free was through a sacrifice. For this reason he offered himself that men may be restored to him once again. That men who were captives, bound by chains of sin, fear,hate, and sickness would be set free. He didn't come as a king, but as a Lamb to be offered as a price on the cross. The bruises, the whip he endured, the pain he went through was for a cause- that humans would return again to God's will and have the power to say NO to sin and fear.

He was crucified, he died, and on the third day he rose to victory. Now we have hope in him and live in that victory he won on the cross. Now it's no longer we who live, but Christ who lives in us, because we were bought with a price.

While you celebrate this Easter, remember that the price was paid on the cross and you're a victor to sin and fear.
