Hello everyone! How are you all? I hope you are all doing well and fine together with your friends, loved ones, and family!β€
It's been five months since the last time I published my article here on Hive, due to the unavailability of our phone. Untoward incidents happened. But above all those things I witnessed and felt the love, power, and mercy of God through the people that I have encountered in so many unexpected ways.
My elder brother gave me his phone so my son can use this in school. And I am also using it now.
Last month before @czander's birthday on November 3, He suffered from Dengue Fever. But at first, I thought it was just a (UTI) Urinary tract Infection because his fever was on and off and sometimes very high. I bought the antibiotics and medicines that the doctor prescribed. But his condition worsened, and after a few days, he lost his appetite and vomiting.
He was so weak. I contacted my mom's friend in their senior citizen group, she is also an MCGI Cares member, and she is active in their medical missions and church activities, she is also the administrator in our Barangay Hall and the sister of our Barangay chairman's mother I asked help for the Ambulance and without hesitation, she granted our request, thank God!. But that time the Ambulance was under repair and needed to wait for an hour, so I carried my son to the nearest hospital using a tricycle.
As we reached the hospital, they said they couldn't accept my son for admission because that hospital was for pregnant and babies only. So they just let him lay down on a spare bed while waiting for the ambulance to transfer him to the other hospital for admission because he was dehydrated already. The Ambulance came with the staff to help us, and my contact was monitoring us, she also sent some amount for expenses, and my brother also gave me an extra amount.
While waiting for the ambulance, I met a lady with a good heart, she was also there for a follow-up check-up, and she also helped us, I was so surprised and she prayed for us too. As we reached the San Pedro District Hospital here in San Pedro City Laguna, my son was also admitted to OPD because there was no ICU there, his platelet count was only 70, and they put a
Dextrose on him because he was so dehydrated, that he almost lost half of his weight, the doctor said he needed to be transferred again to any hospital with ICU, so we carried him to JP Rizal Hospital in Calamba City Laguna, but still no ICU there, we tried the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) in Manila, and still the hospital is full. It was already evening time, but the Ambulance and the staff were trying to think where could carry him, God was great that He gave my son a lot of strength to fight. I told the staff to just go home and find another hospital the next day. I decided to carry him back again to the first hospital while searching for the hospital that would accept him, thank God, the doctor and staff assigned to that shift were so kind even though was a lying-in hospital they allowed my son to be admitted there for only 4 hours. Another dextrose has been used on him. He recovered for a while and ate a lot, I also provided him with other hydrating liquids, my sister in Texas U.S.A. also sent some amount that she also borrowed from her daughter because she is already a retired teacher and she is also out of budget at that time. While my son was admitted there in the Emergency room, I was thinking about where I transfer my son after 4 hours, all the Public hospitals already declined us. I was also out of cash already. I prayed to God and went to the house of our Barangay Chairman, who was also an MCGI Cares member. I told him the situation and he said to carry my son to a private hospital, in Evangelista, Pacita, San Pedro City Laguna, he said just give him the total bill, I was so surprised and praised God so much. I returned to the hospital but I was more surprised because my son was eating a lot! The platelet count already improved. The doctor said we don't need to carry my son to another hospital, but he also said I need to carry him every day for monitoring, and it is risky because as far as I know Dengue fever should be closely monitored. The next day using the ambulance, we carried him to the Evangelista Hospital but unfortunately it was also full. Finally, we carried him to the Westlake Hospital here in San Pedro City Laguna, a High-class hospital. I feel blessed that everyone treated us so well, thank GOD!!! But this hospital has a policy that before a patient is accepted for admission, the expenses and bill in the Emergency Room Assessment should be paid first! For 15 hours our bill reached 12,600 PHP plus because the hourly rate is 600 PHP.
Since Dengue Fever does not need any medicines aside from dextrose and blood checking and monitoring, I decided to just transfer my son to another public hospital, because that hospital is so expensive. My problem was where to get that amount, even our Barangay Chairman was not aware of the policy to pay the ER in cash before admission.
A Nurse talked to us she said they stopped the running time of our stay to avoid an increase in our bill, and we should go out before 10 PM for another shift and staff will replace her. She was also a blessing to us. Another blessing came and a nurse again approached us, he learned our situation and asked me if I had 2 Identification Cards
that I could use as collateral, and I said yes! . He introduced me to their supervisor, explained my situation, that I cant give them any amount on that very moment and thank God, allowed me to make a promissory note with his signature. Like a guarantor. Thank God because without his help they will not allow us to get out!!! Finally, we got a pass to take my son out! God is great and people with humanitarian and good hearts still exist.
My son is still recovering his strength and now continues his face-to-face class, and I am still monitoring his condition.
I still need to find ways to pay that bill but I know God will never leave me. And I am praying that those people who helped us, be blessed by God and their prayers and dreams be granted according to His will.
We all came from a loving god who taught us that the act of giving is love. Like what he did when he gave his son Jesus Christ to save us.
GOD IS LOVE...JESUS IS OUR SAVIOR...
We came from different races and religions but only one God created us all!!! You and I have our purpose here in life, It is also my dream to be a help to others in whatever way I can afford to do, even in the simplest way.
Always keep a beautiful smile and let God be the center of life forever and always, In Jesus' name. AMEN. Please don't forget to pray!πβ€β€β€

Providing a helping hand does not mean you are very rich or have all the resources at your disposal but the ability to give out to others is what makes an individual an amazing type.
I have seen rich people who find it difficult to help people not because they do not have the resources but because they don't have that special heart to see what others are going through.
The write-up is amazing and thanks for sharing this.
Your son will be okay in Jesus' name, amen.

-@holler thanks a lot for visiting my post! Yes, and any help that comes from the heart with sincerity is always pleasing to God and glorifying God. God bless you in Jesus name. Amen!π
What should we do if we are forced to give outside our willingness?
May God help us to do that which is right before Him
-Hi! @christybliss I don't know to others but for me, to give should always be sincere and come from the heart and best intentions and most of all to glorify God. God bless you and have a blessed day!π
All the glory be to God in Jesus name! Amenπ

Oh yes in giving we must not give mumuring but we are to give from the depth of our heart and give with gladness of heart.
-Amen! We must be cheerful givers! Thanks a lot, @queenpresh God bless you, and have a blessed day!π
It is good to give and not murmur, but one lesson I learned from my mother is that do not give when it is not convenient for you, not to give and start blaming yourself for it.

-Hi @eunice9200 I respect your point! But for me, when I help if possible I want it anonymously and to help has no season. I experience giving something even if nothing is left to me, with no regrets. I gave it with all my heart. I do not wait for something in return. Because God is my ultimate provider. He will provide us according to his will, in his perfect time. Thank you for visiting my post! God bless you and have a blessed day! Amen!π
