The House of Prayer In Jerusalem- Topic Review

Happy New Month and happy Lord's Day to you brethren in this community. I hope we had a great day in God's presence today.

I remember a day in church when a question was raised during one of the Bible study sessions that can we pray in the toilet (restroom) or what if someone is fasting and they are unable to go to a private place to pray. House of prayer doesn't necessarily mean we must be in church where we've tagged and known as the house of prayer where God lives.

There's actually no place where we call upon God that isn't a house of prayer, as long as we call upon his name in readiness to commune with him.

If buildings are actually the only places God resides in then why would our body be referred to as the temple of God? That is, even when we are not in the temple, we are still a temple where he resides and dwell in.

He lives in us and that's why we are always encouraged to ensure that we keep ourselves holy for he shall not dwell in a place filled with dirts of sin. So we must always present ourselves as a holy and acceptable sacrifice so that even when we call him in the dungeon, hidden places or anywhere, he can recognize our voices as one who he needs to hear from and attend to.

God is not limited to anywhere as he is always everywhere. So for the questions I started this article with, even in the midst of a crowd, as long as you know your heart is functioning, then it's a place of prayer already. So say your prayers in your heart and God is hearing them clearly and loudly in his ears.
