Regaining The Love Of Parents - Topic Review

Happy Lord's Day brethren and I hope we had a great and awesome day in God's presence today.

So regaining one's parent's love simply means that the love was once there before. The parental love and the love from a child to the parents was present but something happened in between which caused the love to either fade off or evacuate at an instant.

We could literally view this in the aspect of a child who has always been a good child to his or her parent, making them proud and getting the parents love, attention and care in return, just like the father of the prodigal son would always care for him before he left the father's premises but suddenly such child changed and started making those same parent regret the day such child was born

No matter how much parents may love their children, the moment such child or children start misbehaving with no heed to warnings, cautions and scolding then he or she tends to lose the love such parent has for him or her. Even though parents love are always genuine and strong but then our feelings are always affected with negative things that doesn't make us happy and even when we don't really mean it for the love to fade, it just happen to fade away.

But then, just like bro Eli has said, such child should sit and think about the things he or she knows that they do to their parents before when they do receive the love from those parents and go back to doing them again genuinely with no pretense. Just like the prodigal son did genuinely and was able to receive favour and get reinstated as a son back into his father's house.

The same way that love faded away will be the same way the love crawls back and have its place once again as long as they are genuine intentions in the first place.
Pray alongside returning to your old act, show that you're worthy of their love once again and what was once lost will be regained.
