Is Holy Week Biblical - Topic Review

Happy Lord's Day everyone and trust we had a great Palm Sunday in God's presence today.

So is holy week biblical? For me, there are some things I don't always want to sought deeper than it should be and I guess reviewing this topic will be kind of skeptical.

My knowledge are based on Bible but arguing whether the death of Christ falls on Saturday or Wednesday or Thursday or not may be somehow because I'm sure that the world has advanced from theat year of CAD something something and I think we use a different calendar to those times back then so it's hard pinpointing which exact day or time or moment for anyone. That's my belief.

The most important thing to hold so dear is that, there is someone who laid his life down for me, for you, and for us in general. When heaven was silent when the question of "who shall go?" popped up, and he answered, here I am, send me, and he came, did all he could even at the point of turning back but he still chooses to end up on the cross and allowed the will of the father come to pass. These are the main causes of remembrance and celebration, that because he lives, we live on as well.

For anyone who has watched PASSION OF CHRIST would know that even without having or knowing a particular day to pin as the day Christ suffered, died or resurrected, everyday is worth dedicating to celebrate Jesus Christ.
So as long as I live in the week, have a reflection of Christ sacrifices over me and made adjustments wherever there's need, then it's a holy week already cos what's the essence of the works of salvation when I'm still dwelling in sin
