At the moment there are 162 LEN tokens in the prize pot for the Liotes Power Challenge 2025.
Being diversified is always a good thing and BTC is more stable. This is if a crypto can be stable.

It will probably grow quite slowly but I believe it's a good step to diversify our assets a bit.
I only just went through the main discord channels for the entire BRO drama and I'm pretty shocked. That was one of the oldest communities on HIVE!

I think that is a good choice. BTC is known to be a good asset, and it will help the value of liotes when Hive price is dropping. As for the BRO drama, I saw it and I think its a shitshow. I sold off my BRO and left the rest alone.
When you look at their discord you can't help but feel like that...

We are building some HBD as well, mainly to cover server costs. We wanted to have a token that is unrelated to hive and offers a certain stability without being a stable coin. We believe BTC is the obvious choice :-)

Finding a way to turn some of Liotes' Hive into BTC via Swap.BTC seems like a good idea, a nice hedge at the very least. š

We saw what are the repercussions of having swap.btc in rewards of the LEN:LENM pool. It pulls the whole APR up in times when Hive prices sink. We believe it will have the same effect with our general assets, even if the position will be rather small.
Indeed. I tend to sell off my SWAP.BTC rewards, partly because you need 0.01 SWAP.BTC before you can withdraw BTC from Hive-Engine whereas it is possible to withdraw small quantities of SWAP.LTC as LTC. However, it might be a better strategy to let SWAP.BTC accumulate precisely to act as a hedge. š¤

ya, its sad what has transpired in bro community.
Bro and LGN are part of my 2025 yearly goals, which have now gone in drain. Today, i removed the hive delegations too.
Anyways, things happen. Moving on...
On another note, I hope everyone on liotes community are aware that index token has also closed and there is currently a buyback offer of 0.45 per token. In case anyone has them, now is the time to sell it.

creating a new fund, is a good idea. Initially i thought it will be outside of Hive / Hive-engine. but swap.btc also works.
