Laying Out the Idea - Liotes Sessions 02
It's time to move on with the Liotes Sessions... We have recorded the second session where we were discussing the next steps of "going outside HIVE"... The point isn't to move out, but rather to bring more people (and more value) to HIVE, Liotes community, and the Liotes token holders!
In this session, we were talking about the next steps that we would like to take... In the first one, we talked more in theory, while this time, we dropped a couple of directions in which we want to go... One of them is launching a special YouTube account where we would try to create a community around it... We don't want to wait for some influencers to come to HIVE, but rather take action and BE THE INFLUENCERS outside HIVE, to attract eyeballs to HIVE!
We would like to do it with YOU, and that's why we would like to hear feedback... Also, when the whole sub-project develops, it would be great to see some of you involved in content creation, community moderation, promotion, etc.

I like this idea very much and I feel very comfortable making videos so I'd be interested in contributing to the content creation side in some way - maybe making segments of longer videos as you mentioned, or maybe creating my own videos for the channel.
By the way, I think your discussion format in this session worked very well.
Although I don't have a big channel (975 subs... hoping to break into the 1k+ bracket fairly soon), I have built up some experience of running a channel so might be able to help you in the early stages.
One thing you mentioned, which I could definitely help with is repurposing the video content - specifically, extracting the video transcript and using it as the basis for a blog post about the video topic.

Attracting eyeballs to HIVE and the idea behind it sounds great in theory. However, I wouldn't entirely discount the idea of outside influencer help yet. Perhaps a guest show kind of segment could be used to build up your own influence by piggybacking on established influencers would make for a better headstart!
It's not dropping the idea of bringing outside influencers to HIVE, it's more like taking our destiny into our hands (while waiting 😃)...
Guest shows are great for promoting BOTH sides in conversation, and are definitely a good idea... Collaborations too... We will see how it goes...

Bringing people to HIVE is one of the goals, but first, we have to go step by step, creating the account, content, and creating a community...

I think that is an interesting idea, and I hope it ends up bring more people to Hive. It seems like a long term play.
It is a long-term play... As we both like to research new stuff, this could be a win-win for us, but also for our community on Liotes... Fresh information fromthe crypto world + following the process of the YT account sharing findings and experiences...
