Welcome to a new Liotes Mission. Today, we would like to get your feed-back. We have a lot of ideas that aim to expand the reach of Liotes outside of hive and also to develop income streams that are not directly related to the hive reward pool. One idea would be to make Liotes a kind of place where we help each other to develop our online businesses. A place where we share and discuss ideas, where we share tools and services and where we encourage and motivate each other to build stuff. We would like to have your feed-back on this idea:
What do you think about the idea to make Liotes a place to develop your online business?

I should probably take a look at the Liotes discord server properly.
But yesterday I signed up to sonic through a friend of mine, and then last night ironically I was on your profile going through your posts which I haven't been doing and saw you talking about in February.
When I was in affiliate marketing over a decade ago I had create a team called TeamTLT (Together Let's Teamwork) and where I took my moniner TengoLoTodo (TLT) from.
We would share referrals around etc and grow as a team..
Alot of our businesses now are online and often crypto ones. I scratch your back if you scratch my back.
Perhaps that is a starting point.
It is a great idea though, Hive is a great place for creativity as you say. There is heaps of talent here that can also do things elsewhere.
Will be reading through the comments later tonight after I cook and eat!
Nice to see that I'm not the only one who landed in the sonic world ;-). I believe it's always interesting to try things out and continue to evolve.
I think that we all run a small business as content creators here on hive. Everybody tries to optimize doing what they like but trying to monetize it. The idea would be to see how to develop this business model to increase the reach and the income it generates and also to figure out ways how we can help each other to evolve in this direction.
Great ideas for liotes! Well i am just a regular employee in a company . But maybe liotes community can help businesses from the community just making networking so members of the community can use businesses from other members when needed?
We tend to forget that our activity on hive is also a kind of business...
It sounds great however I have no idea how the real implementation will be, it's just too abstractive to me
On hive, we all run a kind of business. The idea to is to consider it as such and to implement new ideas to evolve it.
It's an excellent idea not to rely solely on Hive to run the Liotes project. But what would this other environment be like? On another blockchain network or an actual physical company? That's a bit abstract for me.
Everybody that is active on hive is actually running a small business. The idea is to find ways to evolve it and maybe mix it with other networks, other ways of monetization and other ideas. The sky is the limit :-)
Got it! So the idea is that all of us who are part of Liotes look for other ways of earning so that we can grow at Hive. And consequently increase the power of the Liotes project
Making Liotes a place where people can build their online businesses sounds great, and it would be interesting to learn how to go about it, as my imagination is limited :)
I believe that the big potential here on hive is to wire our brains together and let free reign to creativity. I believe the ideas will come as soon as the first steps are taken.
A focus on business sounds like a great idea for Liotes and something that is needed here. Good luck!
Thanks a lot for your feed-back!
Every idea is valid. I believe that having an initiative like this can open many doors. I'm sure that if it's implemented, it will only be a matter of time before solid projects are incorporated.
I think that it's maybe a bit difficult to understand what is meant here but I'm sure that it can lead to very interesting developments...
Anything that adds value is always positive.
I think so too!
It sounds like a good plan to make this project even more valuable. :)
Liotes could become a hup where value is added by everybody involved.
I think one of the most important things for any business is the number of users/customers. If branching out serves that purpose, then you should go for it!
We all run our small businesses as content creator here. What if we could develop this business to attract more readers or add new income sources, I think it would be a real win.
From my experience in business, the most important things is customer volume. If Liotes can provide an environment that brings in potential customers it could be an option. The more exposure your business can achieve the more likely you are to grow, and being better than the competition never hurts either!
People often forget that our activity on hive is a kind of business already. We generate a prodcut (our content) and we try to monetize it. The idea would be to discover new ways to increase the visibility of what we do and maybe add additional income streams to it.
I’m not interested in building an online business but everything related to sharing ideas and learning from others experiences is always welcome. Who knows how many connections could be made!
We tend to forget that we are already all running a small business by being a content creator on hive. We develop a certain brand with how we are and what we do. The idea would be to evaluate ways to extend this business to reach more people, to generate more income and to help each other on the way.
Hmm, not really a business person, unless you count writing posts as an "online business". Hahaha. Happy to hear what ideas others have.
Actually yes, each post that you create is a product that you sell to a community and you hope that it gets monetized in the process. The idea would be to discover ways to make our product better, to improve the visibility and to figure out ways to bring more income to it :-)
Wow that's an interesting perspective!
A collaboration with other projects would be fantastic, and perhaps LEN could play a role.
Working together with others is one side of it.
This is a good initiative. I find it interesting, but it should be limited to a specific period, say, half a year or a year, so that all participants can work on it.
But, as we have already discussed, assessing who could persevere for that long is difficult. I know very few people offline who would even be willing to do that, because everyone lives in their world of projects and ideas. I can't tell from online acquaintances, so it's hard to estimate. Just keeping on Hive and posting, along with something else, takes a lot of time.
What kind of stuff did you have in mind for building?
You said:
This is totally true and this is in fact a business already. We all do it in a different manner and with different objectives. But we can all help each other to make this business better, to add other ways to monetize it and also find ways to evolve so that our content becomes more visible.
I know that many people set Hive goals in terms of the amount of Hive and other tokens that they plan to accumulate. But they don't always understand that this is actually a business venture. Which implies the need to go beyond "revenue" numbers. To consider cost controls, investments, customer services, etc. As well as additional revenue streams.
So it's a great idea to consider Liotes as a support group for all aspects of running a Hive-based online business. Of course, you can start covering certain aspects that you have already prepared. Then I anticipate that it would lead to a knowledge base of good working practices. That would grow as more and more people share their questions, experiences, and opinions.
Thanks a lot @keithtaylor. The whole point of this mission was to introduce the notion that we are all running our business here on hive in a way or another...
We would like to explore this side to consider what we do as a business. To figure out ways how we can improve it. How to make what we do more visible, more professionnal. To add maybe new ways to monetize what we do and simply to help each other to evolve...
While getting paid to raise issues and paid to offer solutions. As well as getting paid for reporting your progress.
I can see lots of advantages from your ideas about helping people to evolve their Hive businesses. And I'm looking forward to getting involved.

As someone with an online business, I think this is a positive idea. Posting reviews of tools, programs, and strategies based on actual experience (preferably with evidence of the results gained) can be very useful. Of course, there should be clear rules in place as to how we recommend tools, specifically when it comes to posting affiliate links.

Hive is place for content but we all try to monetize this content. So it's not very different from any other online business. We would like to explore ways to develop this concept of business. To grow our audience and figure out ways to increase our income...
I think focusing and treating it as a business is a good idea. Hive can prove to be a decent income source to help run your business, but it requires a bit of work to get started. I think it depends on how people approach Hive in general
Hive is a kind of business but there are many ways how to improve it...
Eh, as a general thing to do it's fine. But, I'm not in love with the idea as a income stream. It is rather vague what this would actually entail, but I don't see how it would really make revenue without more details.
The idea is to consider what we do here as a kind of business. To work together in ways how to improve this business. To reach more people and to make it more profitable.
I think it's a good idea and it's very possible. The community as well as the creators of liotes are fully capable of helping new businesses. Here in Brazil, a company or a group of people who try to help other people's businesses get off the ground are called incubators, so you could be incubators for other projects, giving them all the support they need to grow.
I like this notion of incubators. We all have very similar content creation businesses and we can only profit from sharing ideas and ways to evolve this businesses.
Exactly, now that you've talked about sharing and creating content, we could think of lots of projects or ways to incubate and help, actions on insta, x, things like that.
I think it's a fantastic idea.
Creating a community where we can support each other's online businesses sounds really beneficial.
Sharing tools, services, and ideas could help everyone grow and succeed.
Encouragement and motivation are key, and having a dedicated space for that would be great.
I'm definitely interested in seeing how this develops.
