I'm most excited about the huge number of new Hive apps that are just launched or in the completion stage. Excited, but also a little bit daunted about keeping up with everything. In fact, just before I came to this challenge, I spent almost an hour collecting all my news items about Hive apps. Which I will explore soon.
That was prompted by today's news about HiveWord. Which now has a Crossword puzzle in addition to its original Wordle style puzzle. Not hugely exciting in itself. But very enjoyable and exciting as an example of the current wave of programming creativity.
Though I've said "apps", l also include all the new libraries and other coding tools that several developers are giving to the community. Exciting times, indeed!

When I see at the answers here, it seems that a lot of the new projects are not really well known yet.

Hive projects... Somehow I don't see anything that spreads far and wide to non-Hivers. Busy with irl so I just get update from my friend circle. They talk about SealM in Hive crossplay (Cross Blockchain wallet) tho 😂.

I am so out of the loop these days that I am not aware of new projects on the Hive Blockchain. But I am looking forward to the launch of Magi Network's Liquidity Pools, which (accordingly) will allow HIVE and HBD to be paired with other cross-chain assets like BTC. As to when, I have absolutely no idea. Hope they make it happen this year.
Will they then change the name to keep asking for DHF funding in the 1000s as they did in the past. They have spent a fortune over the years on this, so it better happen CJ

A few days ago, I was checking the prices of some layer-2 tokens. I was surprised by how well the LENM token performed—it held up well despite the market downturn. This shows just how strong Liotes is!
We have solid tokenomics I believe. In respect to hive LEN and LENM should keep the price or even over perform in the long run.

A really great project that they have been building and they try to make a real business out of it and not relying on the dhf. That's a big step forward.
that's what any DHF project should do, make a pilot project as the demo, before real money comes in. but we do it wrong here, or maybe the whales just want to be like that so the DHF pool could come out lol

I really appreciate the new dynamisme in 3speak and the mantequilla team in general. Also I like the Ecency multi wallet.

Totally agree with that. It's refreshing when you have projects like snapie or sportsblock.app that come with nice looking things and don't require any dhf funding...
So far probably left with Liotes. The rest have been relatively lacking of updates

For me it's Snapie.io right now. That and Hiveword.xyz has increased my engagement as you can post your Hiveword result on Snapie with a single click, though I usually edit the post to add an extra comment. Until now I've used Snapie on my laptop, but just now I downloaded the Snapie app to my phone. I see you can now create audio content too, so it seems that @meno is doing a good job. One thing I'd like to see added is a way to locate all your own (or anybody else's) snapies (?) in one place.

It's a shame Hive isn't doing better, DUO is still going strong with great dividends daily. But if Hive fails we all have big problems!
Magi is the project that i am waiting to see good outcomes :)

I would have to say Liotes. I don't do much on Hive outside of Splinterlands and a few other things, so I am not as up to date on the newer projects.

There isn't much of anything in HIVE at the moment to be honest. The outlook is pretty dismal to me!
There are actually quite a few nice projects evolving. They are rather small but looking good.
hivecomb.net looks like fun to me , but i would love to see better moderation tools on hive to stop the scammers easier.
It's nice to see fresh approaches like that.
There are a lot of new projects appeared on hive some of them just feontends, some of them are related with AI. But of course I should mention holozing, snapie, liotes, cutehive
There are some nice projects that are developing fast and not just selling dreams...
Splinterlands is the only one I have left standing. I'll read the comments and see what else there is out there.

I may have said this before, but I'm still interested in EXODE! We now have live seasons such generate unique missions. Not only that, but PvP is also actively being tested with new Syndicate Raids! All this while work on the main game loop, Colonization, continues in the background!

I tried the hsnapps the other day and I loved it. post The site is so easy to navigate and you can share your short form contents to either Threads, Snaps or Waves right from that front end seamlessly.
