I was amazed to learn of the existence of a community that welcomes photographic errors and calls itself Not Just Shit Photos.🤔🙃

In other words, without being pretentious, we can all recycle our “photographic garbage” and be rewarded for it. It's unprecedented intellectual honesty. An altruism that only enriches the network. In fact, showing our mistakes and weaknesses, being able to share them and laugh at them, only does us good.

It is in this sense that I want to share some of my shitty photos with you.

I put one or two on Instagram just to get back at the hatred I have for web2.0. I couldn't show them, they don't pass my “quality control”. I don't have the courage to admit certain mistakes.

However, if this community gives me the opportunity to share my shit photos, then let's do it.

They had all the makings of perfect photographs. The sunset is always a motif that embellishes photographs. However, in this case, the beauty of the light isn't enough. The photos are flawed and I'm ashamed.

The main subjects (the airplane and the person) are not in the right place. The plane should be on the sun line, not to the right. The person, in this case, should be right in the center, not to the left, for the silhouette effect I wanted so much. Two examples of imperfect photographs.

One day, the management of the soccer club in my town asked me to photograph a training session and praise the work of the goalkeeper, because they had placed a bust of a goalkeeper on the training ground.

The best I could do was crap. Although they are funny pictures, they don't match what I was asked for: you can't see the goalkeepers' faces. The magic, unique moment: the ball covered their faces. In the other, given my position in the shot, the face was completely dark. Needless to say, the club management didn't like my work. And rightly so!

The first trip to the beach with my grandnephew. In this case, an unwanted backlight. You can't see his face, he seems to be wearing an aura on his head and it's very badly framed. In short, garbage photography. (When the kid asked me about the photo, I changed the subject) 😶🤐


Who hasn't been captivated by inflatable balloons for children? I wanted to photograph him so much that I cut off his head, and only one eye is in focus.😏

I'm very critical of my work. All these photos are bad and I couldn't publish them in a quality context. I'm glad there's this community so I can recycle about them. Thank you very much for being able to share my mistakes, because without mistakes there can be no evolution.
