Midnight Shadows || My Entry For The "SMASh" Contest - Round 407!

Hello, lovers of the shadow hunters community. I hope everyone is having a great day, regardless of the time zone difference. It's currently midnight where I am, and I've been unable to shut my eyes because I spent a good part of the afternoon asleep.

It also rained earlier today, and the calm breeze that followed really aided my sleep. Still, I can't help but wonder what's going on with the climate, as rain at this time of the year is quite unusual for us.

Anyways, since sleep isn't coming to my eyes yet, I decided to step outside to the back of my house in search of some shadows. Unfortunately, I didn't find the kind I had hoped for. But as I turned to head back inside, I still wished I could find an interesting shadow.

Luckily for me, on my way back inside, I spotted these beautiful shadows spreading over the wall and the window. At first glance, you'd likely guess that the shadows are cast by the gate, and you'd be right. They are an exact representation of what my back gate looks like.
