For the past few weeks, we've been experiencing rainy days all through in this part of the world where I reside, and frankly, I’m quite surprised that the weather is back on cue because last year's was very unpredictable. At different points, we waited for the rainy season to show up, but our environment retained its dryness. Other times, we looked forward to welcoming the brief harmattan season, but it kept being windy. So I’m glad that we’re finally experiencing the weather seasons as it should be again.
Like I mentioned earlier, the previous week was filled with so much rain, and even though I enjoy the gloomy weather when I’m not stepping out for any reason at all, I did want a bit of sunshine. I mean, we humans are never satisfied, are we? Thankfully, the sun smiled on me this evening, and I think I was one of the happiest persons because I got to take some shadow photos.
I visited my friend in her student apartment, and while we were together in the room, my eyes searched for some shadows. Unfortunately, there was none in sight. I had already given up when I stood to take my leave, and just at the front of the door, I saw some wonderful shadows lying on the floor and the walls of the exterior part of the building.

These shadows felt very original, raw, and just interesting to look at because I kept going over the photos on my mobile device until I got home. I think I love how they turned out and I hope you do too. Have a lovely rest of your week, friends. 🥰
