Hola, querido hiver.

Esta entrada es mi participación para el concurso semanal de Cazadores de Sombras que organiza @melinda010100.

Hacía mucho, mucho tiempo que no participaba en este concurso y lo echaba de menos. Así que en cuanto he visto esta mañana esas líneas dibujadas en el suelo he tenido que atraparlas.

Aunque la fotografía para el concurso es la que encabeza esta publicación, te muestro aquí el lugar desde una perspectiva ampliada para que lo conozcas:

Cuando hicieron esta obra pensamos que plantarían alguna planta trepadora que aportase sombra y frescor a esos bancos, pero nunca lo hicieron. Así que es una pérgola que no cumple más función que el adorno. Eso sí, el muro de hormigón protege del viento y hace que esos bancos sean muy utilizados en invierno cuando les da el sol matutino.

It's been a long, long time since I've participated in this contest and I've missed it. So as soon as I saw those lines drawn on the ground this morning I had to catch them.

Although the photograph for the contest is the one at the top of this post, I show you here the place from an enlarged perspective so you can get to know it:

When they did this work we thought they would plant some climbing plants to provide shade and coolness to these benches, but they never did. So it is a pergola that has no other function than ornamentation. However, the concrete wall protects the benches from the wind and makes them very useful in winter when the morning sun shines on them.
