Sounds Of Tada…

(edited)

The first thing that came to my mind after reading the prompt was one of Maverick City’s songs “Firm Foundation” with one of the lines of the lyrics that sing “ I still got joy in chaos”.
I mean what other explains the phrase “dancing in the storm” other than a chaotic moment and still smiling? It's quite funny how this had in some way become a norm to some people. I mean no offense but our world of today is ready to go all the way even down to accepting abuse in exchange for lots of money and I presume that could be counted as suffering and smiling too right?

However, on another note, I believe one way or another we all had danced to the beat of the storm, some even fell in the process. I too had danced several steps to a few storms that have crossed paths with while some winds are bearable others overwhelm us and never leave us the same ever again.

When I fell and injured my left hand as a little girl, I didn't cry and tell Mom because I didn't want to have to bear the hotness of a mutilated spirit or any form of medication so I pretended I was all physically perfect. Well, I guess this could go for a breeze dance. But it was a different scenario at the very moment I jumped over a story building and got my right foot dislocated (A story have shared countless times).

I guess I missed a few steps while dancing through that storm because I pretended I was good even while leaping to get through a ride.

That was one difficult dance I got to experience and it was sure a massive fall to the ground by the time the storm threw me off but it was no hurt compared to my story of a heartbreak. That was one of the most difficult dances I had ever experience and don't wish for a repetition. What was worse is no one absolutely no one could help you out except we are willing to let ourselves and the time help heal (not all the time tho ).

Fringing all perfect in the presence of everyone while dying within. I believe am not the only one who has difficulty giving a proper breakdown of the steps that a broken heart gives to the storm… at a point all I felt was dry, almost felt like I couldn't feel anything at all. Among many others, that's one dance am happy to have won over by storm.
Life has proven not to be all full of roses and till man dies, there will always be a reason to visit the beats of the storm that I call “The sounds of Teda” because no matter the weight of the storms one thing is common and that's the rhyme of our hearts which speaks the only life that dwells within us.

WOW 😲! This is a great story. You did well but not allowing your mum know what you are going through at that time. I believe that you tried to save her all the stress.
Thanks for sharing
