Plans for 2025

Happy New Year everyone.

I wish you a healthy happy and prosperous New Year and here is what I am intending to do so that I can have a healthy happy and prosperous New Year!

Healthy!

Being a Silver Blogger ie being over 40 we start to pick up ailments from being older, that coupled with my ankylosing spondylitis flaring up, I managed to switch doctors and now have a doctor that actually seems to give af. As a result I had some MRIs and am in touch with specialists who know the latest side effects and how to manage things.

One good thing is I have found a good swimming pool that is accesible and I have signed up to swim 22 fluffing miles.

Not all on the same day I hasten to add!

My mother was a type 1 diabetic. It happened one summer when I was 8 and we were staying at her parents during the summer holiday. She was in diabetic coma for a couple of weeks. All scary stuff, in the end she had vascular dementia pretty much as a result of the type 1 diabetes.

So not only will this help my back and bones, get me healthier but it will support diabetes reserach and people who have it as I will be collecting for charity.

Interestingly you can donate via crypto....

So Hive is not on the list, maybe we can get it there, but hive only just manages to stop in the top 400 market cap coins.

I will still keep doing my walks to the park and beach etc, but this is an added incentive to get healthier.

One thing I have found out is that my kidneys, liver, cholesterol and all that are in good shape so nothing really wrong with what I eat, just probably too much at times!

Well I don't intend to change the way I am.

I have tried to live in the now for a long time. Of course there is no perfect system and this does mean I often spend and don't save, but heyho I ain't perfect!

I love helping people and always have.

At the end of 2024 I joined greener Kirkcaldy, which is a charity in our local town.

There are potential volunteering opportunities coming up. So yeah if I can give my time to help people and make them happy then hell yeah that makes me happy too.

I know helping people here on Hive is a fluffing awesome thing to do, and it fair brings a smile to my face!

It doesn't stop with people of course. I will carry on feeding the animals when I can.

New Project @mmonline

This potentially crosses over Happy and Prosperous and it is fitting that I learnt a new word from my mmonine partner @deraaa . In Nigeria they talk about the cross over from the old year to the new year. We would say the bells.
Anyway we have a website and project Make Money Online where we showcase legit side hustles, ways to save money and places and ways to get free cryto (and yes Hive is one such place!).

We are publishing some blogs here on @mmonline before we publish on the site to see how things go. In time we will have guest bloggers but it is a great way to explore and pick up new or lapsed tech techniques!

Hive

I did make this tabulated form of my Hive Stats as at 30th December 2024.

I do intend updating this monthly and it would be nice to push myself.

There are no clear number goals on Hive for me, I shall review from time to time.

The only goal is to publish between 5-7 posts a week.

However, I shall be joining Saturday Savers this year with my main account and shall think of a couple goals, I think one well I know one will the the daily penny challenge, I might also do the power up challenge, speaking of which, I just powered up 10 Hive for HPUD.

Off Hive

Degen coming to the fore again.
I put some $ into SOL and some $ into BASE. I have been trading AI Agents on Base in the last couple of days and over up +51 %.

I have decided to trade like I used to about 4 years ago, and with profits yes I do believe in taking profits. Deary me I knew so many people last bull run who were making brilliant and awesome gains, they just kept ploughing it all back in to bags.

Come the crash they had take fuck all profits!

I kept telling them to TP take some profits... So now I just bite my tongue and I do what I do.

Back to this time, when I take profits, I will be buying BTC with half those profits. It does not matter the price of BTC I will be buying. So a bit of DCAing if you like.

Side hustles

I will continue to do more and more side hustles as I wind down my main work.

They are fun.

Getting paid to eat and visit places is my kind of fun!
