CRYPTOCURRENCY AND WEB3
Modernization and innovations has propelled the world as we know it before into a new age of global advancement that affects every field of study and even brought about the introduction of new technologies that simplifies our way of living. The introduction of Cryptocurrency and WEB3 came into existence and fully into the lives of individuals that are willing to embrace it around two decades ago, at first alot of people were reluctant to accept the reality of it because not everyone understood what it meant but that could not be said about it today.
I can't really remember how I came to know about cryptocurrency and web3 exactly but I know for sure that it was intriguing and it really got me interested immediately. I believe it was about a decade ago that I came to really understood what cryptocurrency was and I decided to invest in it. I bought some units of Bitcoin and Ethereum at that time to kick start my crypto journey because I never had the intention to trade those crypto immediately if there is a positive change in the price or for some quick cash but rather my intentions were to hold it for as long as possible till when the price reaches a particular threshold.
Unfortunately I failed to uphold that decision to hold for a long time when I saw that there was a drastic change in the growth potential of crypto at a particular year, and I read about it in the news that it was due to a failed deal or some misunderstanding between the USA and China that brought about that situation. Cryptocurrencies that particular year were not stable in the market price range, but instead there was a vivid indication of a dramatic and unforseen drop in the crypto market and that prompted me to sell almost all my crypto portfolio leaving only a few at that time.
Today I have come to realise how foolish my decision back then was but as they say "there is no crying over spilled milk" so I just have to bear the loss and then reinvest into it again when the situation was different. Getting to know about web3 was probably around five years now and only after I was introduced into the Hive Blockchain that I got a broader and better understanding of how it works.
With the way things are going in regards to technological advancement and innovations, am sure that in the next decade cryptocurrencies and web3 will also achieve a significant breakthrough to another new level. I will advice those that have been ignorant all this while about cryptocurrency and web3 to wake up and see how the world is changing, and accept reality faster before it's too late for them.
