Christmas : Season of Love and Charity

...season greetings dear friends, trust your Christmas is going well ? And you are sharing love ?

The christmas season is always a time of joy, reflection, and renewed hope. For me, this season this season is always eventful and always full of different get-together, this year's own began with a beautiful blend of worship with the NAEAP family during our thanksgiving service, family bonding, and moments of laughter with friends. From there i started attending Rotary family gathering, which is always our end of the year gathering to bond well with the Rotary family. First it was Family of Rotary for Rotary club of Uyo Metropolis, followed by Rotary club of Uyo, get-together with my colleagues at work, reunion with old students of my alma mater. Then the ibom carol festival.

Well, Christmas is one season that I enjoy , not because of anything, but just because of the weather is always cold, but I am yet to see hammatan this year, I believe it's on the way. One other reason I love Christmas season is the fact that there is always a holiday for people to travel to their communities , unite again with family and friends, have good time to rest and refresh.

Although love is expected to be shared always , but since Christmas is a season for joy and happiness, people tend to share gift out of love, show kindness to others during Christmas.

Personally, every Christmas season myself and my team N-Samp Foundation do go out for an outreach. We do visit destitute centers, or rural areas and gift them some raw food stuffs, clothings , toiletries etc. This year was not an exception, we visited St. Anthony's Destitute Center, Uyo. It was a great and nice time with the children at the center. As usual, we donated some clothings, food stuff, toiletries. We also carried out a first aid training with the children there.
For this year's outreach, we had some partners ( Rotaract Club of Uyo City and De Unique Sisters )

Although we also do carry out a book donation project annually to learners in rural schools, all these are just means that we use in contributing our little quota to make the world a better place. We will not stop to do our best. We are always open for support and partnership and this is our 5th year. We pray to God for the grace to do more.
