Charity can't be forced

Humans are known as the best creatures in this earth and humanity is the thing that makes humans the best creatures in this earth and it’s also the thing which isolates us from other creatures. We are social beings and we can’t live alone and for various reasons we need the help of others doesn’t matter how capable we are. People also give a helping hand for the sake of kindness and doing charity is also for of kindness. Charity is not something that we are forced to do. It’s something we do from the bottom of heart without having any kind of expectations.

When we go outside, we see, there are many kids who are begging. At their age they should be in school and doing study. Unfortunately, life is not the same for everyone, and they are suffering because of poverty. Because of hungriness they may be forced to beg and feeling pity for them is quite natural and from my perspective I feel that being able to help them is something we can consider as good work as they need the support from us. If we are kind enough, we can give them helping hand if we are capable. But we are not bound to help them. It depends on us whether we give a helping hand or not. What if doing charity becomes compulsory? Will it be good?

If giving charity becomes compulsory, it will be like similar to tax. In case of tax it’s somehow reasonable as we receive facilities from the government but if charity becomes like it may seems good from the surface because the people will be forced to give fund for charity and the poor will receive a good amount of help and such a thing may seems good but do you think it’s a good thing. I think that such a system is totally ridiculous. Even if I have the mentality to help the poor, I won’t give funds to them as I don’t like to be forced.

If it’s a compulsory thing I think that the poor don’t deserve the sympathy or kindness of others. Being poor is not a blessing and when they will receive the funds for compulsory, people may start to hate them as they are receiving something which they don’t deserve and rich may hate the poor people only for that reason. In fact, in such a case poor may choose not to improve their condition as they will not receive the compulsory fund without making any effort and it’s not a good thing.

I strongly believe that nothing can be compulsory for unreasonable rights. If such thing happens, I will be ready to leave the country, but I won’t be ready to give the fund to anyone without any reason as it’s not something related to kindness. It’s like the poor have right on my assets and because of the same reason the poor may become arrogant and won’t appreciate the kindness of people also. So, I feel that making charity compulsory will only bring chaos and many people will lost the interest for helping others as it will be compulsory.
