My One Thing Is To Live In The Now.

Before anything, I want to wish you all a happy new year. I can’t believe that 2025 is here and the first day is almost gone. Well, that doesn’t matter as I am sure we all entered 2025 ready for it. If you entered without preparing, don’t worry. Give it time and you will get the hang of it.

This is when we are likely to talk about our goals for the year, and I used to do that but no more. The only thing I can share is that I will give this year my best to change things I need to and live in every moment.

First, the year started on a really good note. You know those tiny guilts you carry and they eat at you, I got rid of those. This morning into the afternoon was filled with conversations with people who have wronged me or been wronged by me. There was a lot said and chapters closed. Now, here is the thing. We have spoken, talked out our differences and gained closure, but it doesn’t mean that we would go back to being friends. That I have accepted and I am even happy with it.

Now, as I write this, I can’t help but recall what a fun day I have had so far. I started with deliciously stretching my body with yoga exercises and then intense workout routines. I wasn’t alone. I and a friend did it together and we plan to carry it on.

Yesterday, into the wee hours of the morning, there was a nonstop reminder of the new year. Shouts, blasts, and revving machines. It was never ending and I woke up a few times from my sleep. Despite all this, I had the pleasure and the privilege of crossing over with my friends @tengolotodo and @jhymi. Of course, I can’t forget @enyitee who I have been spending more time with, plus her household.

I feel so blessed that my Mom crossed over with me as well. I feel truly blessed and I have the conviction that 2025 will be a really good year, not just for me and those I love but for Hive as well. Which is why I am powering up 10 Hive this first day of the year. As little as it is, it carries my thoughts which is I am here on Hive to stay for as long as it lives on. Hive is now an integral part of my life and it would take a lot to change that.

With that said, I retire back to join my friends in our very small but meaningful celebration. I hope you all have a great year ahead.
