Finally on vacation: hello, free time!

Finally, I started my vacation from my main job on Monday, and guys… what a great feeling! Seriously, having one less thing on my mind and a bit of free time makes all the difference. It’s almost like my brain suddenly got to breathe, you know? And not having the constant pressure of deadlines and assignments… wow, so liberating!

I’m enjoying the week as best as I can: catching up on things, taking care of my plants, my home, my dogs… and savoring every little bit of free time. It’s amazing how small moments gain so much more value when you’re not constantly racing against the clock. Honestly, I’m not missing the work chaos this time.

And if I’m already happy now, just imagine the excitement for next week! As I’ve mentioned here a few times, I’m traveling to São Paulo for the I Wanna Be Tour festival and to see my favorite band: Good Charlotte! Plus, there are other bands I love playing too. Just thinking about the music makes my heart race. I had plans to do the Neo Química Arena Tour, which is the stadium of my favorite soccer team (Corinthians), but on Sunday when I’ll be in São Paulo, there’s the Brazilian Women’s Championship semifinal game in the morning (Corinthians vs. São Paulo) and, for obvious reasons, they won’t allow visits to the stadium. And in the afternoon, there’s the Paulista Derby (Corinthians vs. Palmeiras), but unfortunately, I’ll already be on the bus by then. :(

Ah, and speaking of things that make my day, I love those evenings when the sky turns shades of pink. It’s simply magical, my absolute favorite. It gives that feeling of peace and lightness, perfect for just sitting and taking a deep breath.

Finalmente, entrei de férias do meu trabalho principal na segunda-feira, e gente… que sensação boa! Sério, ter menos uma coisa na cabeça e um pouco de tempo livre faz toda a diferença. É quase como se de repente meu cérebro respirasse, sabe? E não ter a pertubação de pauta a cada minuto... nossa, libertador!

Estou aproveitando a semana do jeito que dá: colocando algumas coisas em dia, cuidando das minhas plantas, da minha casa, minhas cachorras... e curtindo cada pedacinho de tempo livre. É incrível como pequenos momentos ganham outro valor quando você não está correndo contra o relógio o tempo todo. E, sinceramente, não tô sentindo falta do caos do trabalho dessa vez.

E se eu já estou feliz agora, imagina a ansiedade para a semana que vem! Como eu falei aqui já algumas vezes, vou viajar para São Paulo para o festival I Wanna Be Tour e assistir ao show da minha banda favorita: Good Charlotte! E ainda tem outras bandas que eu amo, que vão tocar também. Só de pensar nas músicas, meu coração já dispara. Eu tinha planos de fazer o Tour da Neo Química Arena, que é o estádio do meu time do coração (Corinthians), mas no domingo que eu estarei em Sampa vai ter jogo da semifinal do Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino pela manhã (Corinthians x São Paulo) e não vão abrir o local para visitação, por motivos óbvios. E a tarde tem Derby Paulista (Corinthians x Palmeiras), mas, infelizmente, eu já estarei no ônibus essa hora. :(

Ah, e falando em coisas que fazem meu dia, eu amo esses fins de tarde quando o céu atinge tons de rosa. É simplesmente mágico, meu favorito de todos. Dá aquela sensação de paz e leveza, perfeita para sentar e respirar fundo.
