Let me tell you how a community collaboration saved a life. There was a man in a community close to mine; let's say his name is Mr. Dan. So Mr. Dan was a very nice man; he was very friendly, and he accommodated everybody.

I mean, people ran to him anytime they had problems. Mr. Dan was a people's man. In Mr. Dan's community, people get kidnapped every time, but they don't know who was behind it. Anytime someone is being kidnapped in that community, Mr. Dan is always the first person to visit the family of the victim; he could cry and even contribute money for the victim's release.

But one secret the people in that community don't know is that Mr. Dan is behind all the kidnapping. One fateful day a very good and rich businessman was kidnapped—in fact, This same Mr. Dan was at his house the day the man was kidnapped he even ate in the house, but he had bad intentions.

Around 7pm in the evening, the man was in his shop when some Fulani guys used some trick to kidnap the man. They came as if they wanted to buy something, and they pointed a gun at him and asked him to follow them. He did. His wife was crying 😭, and even the so-called Mr. Dan cried too.

Hm, but that same Mr. Dan was behind the kidnapping. So the people in that community stopped selling things for the Fulani that were living in that same community, but the Fulani people swore that they didn't know anything about the kidnapping.

And because the people were accusing them falsely, they decided to find the kidnapper by themselves. So one day one of the kidnappers came to buy food in that community/town, and the Fulani man from that community who was accused of the kidnapping saw a new face that he wasn't familiar with, and his instincts told him that this new face might be the kidnapper.

He began to follow the new Fulani face to the bush and saw where they were hiding with the businessman who was kidnapped. He went back to the community, called the community youth, and informed them of the new development.

The youth gathered and went to the bush where the businessman was kept. And they cut the Fulani and took them to the community to ask them who sent them to kidnap the man.

There and then the Fulani confessed that it was Mr. Dan who brought them from another state; they have been kidnapping people for Mr. Dan. And he pays them.
