Last Day in Romblon, Romblon – A Journey Back Home

Our last day in Romblon, Romblon came with mixed emotions — a quiet sadness that the adventure was ending, but also a sense of gratitude for all the memories we made. Knowing how busy travel can get, especially with many tourists and locals returning to Manila, we booked our ferry tickets in advance. We wanted to make sure we’d have a seat on our desired date, and it turned out to be a wise decision. The port was bustling with travelers, each carrying their own stories of island life.

As we boarded the ferry, we took one last look at the peaceful shores of Romblon. The trip from Romblon Island to Batangas Port was long — a total of 10 hours at sea — but the gentle rocking of the boat and the open horizon gave us time to reflect on everything we had experienced. From swimming in crystal-clear waters to exploring hidden spots, and enjoying simple but unforgettable meals, Romblon had given us so much more than just a vacation.

Once we arrived at Batangas Port, we made our way to the nearby bus terminal. Tired but still in good spirits, we waited patiently for a bus bound for Robinsons Ortigas. It felt like we were slowly being pulled back into the fast-paced rhythm of the city after days of peace and nature. From Ortigas, we took another ride going to our home — and just like that, our island adventure officially ended.

Traveling home took time and energy, but our hearts were full. Romblon gave us a break from the usual, time to connect with nature, and moments to bond as a family. As we unpacked our things and settled back into normal life, one thing was certain: we’ll always carry the magic of Romblon with us — and maybe, just maybe, we’ll come back one day.

Please don't re-upload or reblog. Thank you.
